The Friary - Whalley - Photo album

Contacted The Friary to ask if they had vegan chips and were told they could fry them separately in oil instead of dripping and the mushy peas were vegan...called for tea with three friends after a walk and ordered four chips and mushy peas. We sat in a small seating area just near the bus station.
Excellent fish and chips, a bit pricy (£10.60) But worth it, will go again!
Great meal as always. There was a short wait as there were about 15-20 orders in front of me. Was told this before I placed the order. It was ready when they said and we'll worth the wait!! Thanks again! 👌
I honestly cannot explain how fantastic this fish & chips is. Extremely tasty! Lovely staff great prices! Absolutely loved everything about it. I won’t go anywhere else now. Thankyou so much (love the fish and chip boxes)
Great food we all enjoyed are sausage and chops great portion sizes and great service 10 out of 10
Very busy but very organised shop. The food is always ready quickly, but freshly cooked. Having the app to order on means I can order online and by the time I have walked down, it is ready to collect. Everyone I have dealt with so far is friendly and efficient. Not many places can provide good Chine
Amazing fish and chips with welcoming, friendly staff. Highly recommend
I've used this chippy several times this year, consistently good quality food and service, also prices what you would expect. However, this evening no staff at all wore face coverings or face shields, even though this is now legally required, all customers I saw did wear them and a sign on shop wind
Great food, chose the Chinese options. All freshly cooked to order. Good portion sizes. Fair pricing too. Will certainly return there in the future when in the area in need of a takeaway.
Best chippy in Lancashire, amazing and friendly staff, excellent food best fish around. Even do delivery with a very short time to wait.
Been here a few times, brilliant fish and chips and they even have their own app ( I think) if you are passing through whalley and are peckish, I would definitely recommend this as a place to stop and eat.
