Been here a few times now and consistency is key this is a Fantastic place, amazing staff, great quality food and very good prices and thenhome made pies are perfect. Fresh and tasty. Only thing I would change is offering delivery. Thank you.
Made sure you order your fish as soon as you arrive, even if there is a que! Otherwise you could have a long wait. Good news, they take card payment 😀. Really lovely 🐠 and good chips, good size portion.
Had a take away Couldn't fault the service and very friendly And considerate Best fish and chips in ages
Went on National Fish and Chip day. What a treat we had, excellent crispy fish, very very good chips and mushy peas. There was a long queue, not surprisingly, but staff were working flat out. Well worth the wait
Fantastic chippy making it our weekly treat. We'll done to all staff.
Freshly made fish to order in about 5 mins which was excellent, chips were a bit enemic looking but good. The spicy curry sauce was lip tingling so not too hot and probably appeal to the majority. Overall 4 stars only let down by the chips.
Excellent fish and chips. Discovered between Christmas and new year because they were the only ones open. We live in Sparrowpit so they put extra paper on to keep them warm. Going again this evening.
This is the third time that we've stopped off at the Fryery on our way back to Nottinghamshire. The ladies behind the counter are really friendly and very helpful. The food is always cooked fresh and to perfection. We would highly recommend this fish and chip shop in the High Peak.
First time we have ever enjoyed takeaway fish n chips. The chips were lovely and yellow, not the brown mush that is often served by chippies. Everything was really fresh, no grease in sight. Batter was light and tasty and didn't leave our sensitive tummies upset at all. And very friendly staff. Will
The quality of the food here was evidenced by the length of the queue in the shop, and it was worth the wait. The batter on my cod was just the right thickness, without overwhelming the fish in the mushy sleeping bag of pulp that is so often applied in other outlets. The fish itself was fresh, succu
Great fish and chip shop.
Really outstanding. All freshly cooked. We phoned ahead to warn them and they managed to cope with quite a fair group of hungry kayakers and canoeists in a reasonable amount of time and all with a smile. Dog liked them too! £4.90 for fish & chips.
Very nice fish and chips. Cooked to order so very fresh and hot. Nice friendly staff. Would go back good see portions.
Absolutely banging little Chippy . Food is always spot on and the staff are brilliant
Only ever had scampi and chips from here, they are the best I have ever had and will now go nowhere else. Proper whole tail scampi, dry crisp chips and scampi. Only downside, tartar sauce just taste like mayonnaise.
Our go to chippy! Never greasy and is definitely my households favourite place. The ladies are lovely too 👍🏻
