We had approximately 70-80 people for a party on Saturday night. 🎉The staff were excellent, very helpful & accommodating despite the pub being quite busy anyway. The buffet was good and lots of it 😋 Many thanks to Pascal & his staff for a great night.

Lovely little local. The decor is a little run down but not to a bad extent. The menu is extensive and the food was actually great. Service was seedy attentive and very friendly. About the only disappointment was the fact that it advertised itself as a venue to watch sport and had lots of large screens around the place but despite speakers spread around the place the volume was virtually non existent to the point where the fruit machines drowned out any chance of hearing anything.

A good night out with friends. Reasonably quiet, had a meal which was great. Maybe the portions were too large for the ladies, but advised to try the bite size meals next time. Us blokes were happy though as we polished off the left overs. Also it was the last day of the 30% off mains which was a bonus. That prompted an additional bottle of Shira between us. Winners all round. The England v Australia football game was on but not intrusive volume wise. A great night out and didn't have to shout to be heard. Well done to all at The Famous Old Spa, Weymouth.

Our little lunch club visited mid-week. There is no full table service: Food is delivered to the table, but has to be ordered at the bar. The food was as expected for this kind of establishment - a pub. Of particular note, though, was the steak and ale pie. Mashed potato was requested - and served - instead of chips, and the pie itself was absolutely delicious. I wish it had been me that ordered it! Although busy, the carpark had plenty of space, including disabled spots, which we needed. There are also four electric vehicle charging stations available. All-in-all, a pleasant lunch with decent food. 🍌🙂

We have used this location twice for school class reunions over the past years. Plenty of space for 30 people. We also had smaller gatherings with 4 of us. The tables are large and give plenty of elbow room. The atmosphere is still good, but is in need of a renovation now,. Our last visit was late June when we met a classmate who had ordered our children’s book, ‘The Adventures of Rolly’.

Hi my friend and I had a great time.we were there f I'm 7-10pm Olivia and Lorraine were working. They were both welcoming, and chatty .our dinner was really yummy lasagne garlic bread and salad , with a side of chips. Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for pudding. The food came out in good time, was lovely and hot and well presented. The staff checked to make sure we were happy with our meals. Cleared our table and brought out our puddings without us having to ask. The only thing I would suggest is more chips in the side of chips bowl. We are already looking for our next visit. Thankyou

We had a lovely meal. There was a mix up over the seating and the sweets. All sorted out.

We came here as every where else we tried was too busy to seat us. Well, it was their loss as this place was lovely. The food was amazing full of flavour and came out very quickly hot and fresh. The staff welcomed and just a nice quiet place to eat. Will definitely come back while were here. They also saved my bithday meal out thank you.

Pleasant ambience, staff efficient. Food nicely presented. Didn't like the sausages but mash and peas okay. My husband's pasta fish very enjoyable. Wish meat and veg could be on the menu more often.

There's plenty of seating but you can book ahead for you own pace of mind. Happy and helpful staff and prices that isn't going to hurt to much, there's enough tables so you can get away from the bar area of you want. We had the Sunday roast and it was ok, all the veg was cooked and the meat was nice but if there's a niggle I can pull up it's the roast potatoes as they was heavily salted.
