Monday 23rd October we had a family meal at the Ship. I chose Tiger prawns and rump steak with fondant potatoes off the specials board and my meal was the best meal I have eaten out anywhere. The steak was cooked perfectly and was so soft and the fondant potatoes cooked in garlic butter were fab. This is the 3rd time we have eaten there and always have a great meal.

Just had a meal here. Valentine's Day, with my girls. I am so impressed. We're not local and are staying in Weymouth for the night. Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff super friendly and helpful and all compliments to the Chef. Our meals were all top class. Nothing but positives here.

Just celebrated my friends wedding here. Staff were excellent and could not do enough to ensure the wedding guests were looked after.Thank you for accommodating my allergy needs and the simplest little things like a peppermint tea when I was feeling the effects of my previous nights shift. It went a long way! Highly recommend!!

We went for a meal to say farewell to a friend who is moving. The food was brilliant and well cooked to individual tastes. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were keen to serve and a very happy bunch. Food was served with reasonable waiting times from order. Really enjoyable experience will be back.

It was cold and wet outside and the staff were immediately friendly and helpful to our group including 2 Jack Russell terriers. Great cocktails. Fair prices. Good venue.

We sat in the courtyard for our lunch which was lovely,we ordered a fishfinger sandwich and a BLT , both were excellent and we had a beer and a lager. The staff were pleasant and brought our meals out to us. The toilets were clean and the pub had disabled access. Highly recommend

Tardis like pub that has a good mix of modern and traditional. Walk through into the extended interior which has incorporated adjacent buildings and you can choose you nook or next to French doors looking out to the harbour. Staff were great and Badger Ales even better, with the best Tanglefoot for a few years.

Our favourite pub when visiting Weymouth. We went in for one drink and stayed for 3, we had several starters, Camembert cheese with bread and also a gluten free roll and Chilli Nachos. Very nice, the e server went through the allergen guide with me to ensure I knew what I was ordering as I said I was GF. Khallum one server was great, friendly and even called a taxi for us as it was pouring with rain.Great music and lovely atmosphere. If we lived in Weymouth it would be our local but we'll have to make do visiting several times a year.

Very nice interior and location, with lovely harbour views. Food was only okay - the buns on all the burgers our table ordered were very dry and a bit stale. It took a long time for our orders to be taken and to get our food, but the service was friendly and there were two big tables seated just before us. I'd visit again for the venue but wouldn't rush back to eat.

Had a lovely evening meal here, lovely people, great service and the food was lovely. 2 double cheeseburgers, a steak pie and a children’s burger, all nice and hot, really tasty stuff. Followed up with some puds 😋, just a lovely place to sit and enjoy food.

Visiting Weymouth for the weekend and booked a table last minute. They kindly fitted us in and the food was delicious, the staff super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We returned again on the Sunday and they did not disappoint. The food we ordered was delicious the roast dinners looked incredible although was a little too hot for us to order roast. Mac and cheese was delicious and the wings! We visited on a very warm weekend! Thank you will would definitely return when we visit Weymouth again. 🤍

We loved it so much, that we’re going back again this evening! We visited with two adults, 2 teenagers and 2 preschoolers and we all absolutely loved our visit - as you can imagine, it’s incredibly rare to find somewhere that pleases everyone! The staff were very accommodating and gave us a large round table which was away from the busiest part of the restaurant. All the food was very, very good but the fish and chips were amazing! All the staff were so friendly and professional - they even let my husband sample some of their unique drinks - coffee and caramel Guinness was a winner. Also, they have books and games for customers to use and there were plenty of people enjoying games or just sitting reading. Dog friendly - i think we may have seen almost every breed of dog in there last night! All in all, a great place to eat or just pop in for a drink - just make sure you book in advance as it’s popular!

We had Saturday lunch and were able to sit inside with a view without having booked. It’s a really awesome atmosphere and great location on the water, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food had nice flavour, though sandwich Cobb bread was a bit hard (so not great of sensitive teeth). Loos were clean, and there was a parking lot just over the bridge (a mere few minute walk).

Lovely friendly pub & restaurant, dogs welcome. Food is reasonably priced, good quality and food cooked perfectly. I had the seared pork chop on butterbean stew, broccoli, crispy chorizo and crushed new potatoes, husband had the flat iron steak with all the trimmings both were lovely.

Super friendly staff and great location! We had a Sunday roast and it was so tasty, really big portions too and you can ask for a takeaway bag. Honestly the pub itself is lovely and I have no complaints. Also we were slightly late to our booking and I gave them a call to let them know and they didn’t have a problem with it.
