A fantastic restaurant, fantastic staff and exceptional food. We found this restaurant after an online search and it didn’t disappoint. We went twice in 5 days as we were hooked on it (see what I did there? 😉) and had 5 different fish between us, all of which were fresh and cooked to perfection. In addition, the unlimited chips were light and crispy and the curry sauce was divine.
Make sure you book though to avoid disappointment as it does get busy.
Food is great! Salt&Pepper Calamari is highly recommended. Super fresh fish. Love the location and the vibe of the place. 100% recommend. The staff is the sweetest. Mischa and Russ were splendid. Give them a raise. Positives only ♥️
Very welcoming staff, great allergy menu (see photos). Food was fantastic, cooked fresh. Cooks are amazing, changed ingredients to vegan without needing to be asked due to my allergies. Can't recommend this place more
One of the only fish restaurants in Weymouth that isn't fish and chips. All local fish and produce and really tasty and well presented with very friendly staff. Highly recommended
Very cozy restaurant serving spectacular seafood and very warm and personalised service. Grilled calamari is my absolute favourite. Highly recommend!
A great list of specials and regular items, all prepared and cooked to perfection in simple ways so the seafood really shines. They had samphire on the day as well which was delicious! Excellent service and atmosphere, can't wait to be back.
I went to this restaurant with my American friends. My cousin recommended it. The food is great with all kind of sides that go well with it. It’s predominantly seafood, including what’s fresh from the market. The venue is great as well. The only downside was the slow service a bit. It took awhile before the orders were taken.
We where there at lunchtime, 4 of us.
Busy but not crowded. We managed to sit in a few mins, outside.
We had scampi, fish and chips, whitebait, chargrilled calamari, crispy rockfish tacos, and sides.
Very quick service and great quality products.
We will definitely visit it again
Gorgeous restaurant right on the seafront. Compared to others around it is pricy, but the food is exceptional and everything is fresh. Well worth a visit

First time visit to Weymouth and came across this restaurant, I can absolutely recommend it, food, service & atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be back.
First time here, initial impression is smart, light and airy. Welcome is pleasant and service is prompt.
Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, there is an extensive (fish) menus (one meat dish) with several catch of the day specials.
Starters were delicious (chickpea/falafel and squid) and main courses were good, liked the bottomless chips deal.
Definitely go back on a regular basis. Two areas that I hope improve, the wine list is short and on pricey side for what’s on offer (opted for cheapest white Pino Blanco rather than overpay for an Albariño or other choice) and deserts, only 4 on offer, only one appealing (crème brûlée) but not after a light fish dinner.
Minor points and nothing that will stop us going back or trying other branches if we come across them.
What an awesome jewel in Weymouth! The waiter was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere fits very nicely for a fish restaurant and the food was very delicious. A special highlight for me was that almost everything on the menu was gluten free, soooo good. Would always recommend and we definitely come here again!
Fantastic service, atmosphere and the food was like paradise! The fish tasted so fresh and light in the mouth, it was just amazing! We will come back for more in the summer!
Found this restaurant by chance. Came two nights running because it was so good. We now are aware and respect the origins of the delicious food we enjoyed. Thoroughly recommend if you like locally sourced fresh fish cooked by people who are passionate about what they do.
I’m on a mini break in Weymouth and Rockfish was recommended by my host . Absolutely fantastic food! I chose the Dover Sole with unlimited chips, both cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. If I visit Weymouth again I will certainly call in again! Highly recommended.
Probably the largest & best piece of battered Haddock I've ever had, coupled with unlimited chips and I had to try the sautéed spinach which was worth the visit alone.
The restaurant has character throughout and the service was both knowledgeable & attentive, highly recommend and will definitely go back if I'm ever in Weymouth again.
We've been to several Rockfish places in the South West and they never let us down.
Furnished and decorated in a modern seaside fashion, where you're not too crammed in. Always some outside seating too.
The menu is extensive, with all their fish being landed that day, and a range that goes beyond many other seafood and fish and chip restaurants.
We had nibbles, the Olives and Anchovy Mayo and baguette we're both excellent.
Then we had Monkfish Tails with Curry Sauce and French Fries, Brill baked in Butter and Garlic, and Leeks in Romanesco sauce, and Battered Hake with Chips and Mushy Peas.
All our food was sensational. We really can't fault the place. Accompanying wines, beers and pots of tea were perfect accompaniments.
All my in all, a small chain restaurant that are like the best brilliant independents.
Don't leave without popping to the loans listening to the spoof shipping forecast. Very funny.
