A real hidden gem that’s in such a beautiful location and always worth a visit. Some of the best homemade cakes I’ve had that don’t break the bank and the scones are delicious, my husband doesn’t have a sweet tooth so the savoury afternoon tea is next on his hit list. I really want to try their roast dinners too, they look amazing. Staff are always friendly and helpful when we’ve been, nothing is too much trouble. The best bit is I can lose my husband in the gardens for a while after we’ve eaten...so peaceful for us both haha. Honestly, If you haven’t been yet, you must...you’re missing out!

We have eaten at upwey wishing well a few times and the food is always delicious. The cream teas are yummy and the roast dinner by far one of the best we’ve had. The staff are always friendly and the location is absolutely stunning, my son loves a wonder around the gardens before a spot of lunch.

Great place. We recently held a Chamber of Commerce breakfast there and the hosts were very accommodating. The food was great and the location was very tranquil and picturesque. I highly recommend a visit.

We visited here today. Very friendly staff. We booked our table on the way through to looking at the wishing well. I had to walk as there was gravel on the pathways and my scooter won't go over the gravel. But there were lots of seats so I went between them very well. On the way back to the cafe it was o so pleasent. We ordered roast pork dinner, then had a pudding each and a drink of course. Lovely cafe x of course they allowed Ella our dog in x

Spent my 30th birthday here with the ladies from my family and a few friends. Had a truly wonderful time. Had tea, cake and sandwiches. Absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend. A few of the ladies were gluten and wheat free and they were accommodated for superbly. Still dreaming about how good the food was and can't wait to come back soon. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday so brilliant.

I visited the Wishing Well at Upwey with my husband. I was able to take muffin my little dog who enjoyed the walk around the gardens, and we enjoyed the lovely high tea, the sandwiches were lovely and the cakes to die for. Also was able to squeeze in a cream scone. As we left a couple of cakes so we were given a doggy box to take away. If I am lucky to win this completion I would love to treat my very good friend Pam to this experience and of course muffin would love another walk around these beautiful gardens.

The food is great, as is the service. We had a delicious lunch, then strolled around the garden for a while.... and then it was time to sample their scrumptious cream tea If you've never been there before, it's definitely worth a visit.

I can only describe this place as magical! Went with mum and had a wonderful roast sat by the stream in the gardens. When I say sat in the garden, it's not just a group of tables in an outside area, but tables spread out along a path in extensive gardens by a spring and stream. Food is excellent, staff are very attentive and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. We're in upwey for 3 days and will definitely eat here again before we leave!

First time I visited with family. It's one of the most beautiful, unique restaurants around. Not only was the food amazing quality ( try the Scones with cream and jam 🤤 ) But also the staff went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. Then the best surprise of all is the truly beautiful gardens. You can eat outside too ! We'd like to thank your whole team for a warm welcome and pleasant experience.

A magical spot in a lovely village setting. We visited the medieval church then had lunch at the tearooms. Food was top notch with a great menu and the cakes were both beautiful to look at and tasted delicious. The gardens are larger than I had expected with tables inside and out, set by the spring and stream and hidden within the gardens. We all loved our experience here and I half expected to see fairies, it was just so special. Great service from friendly, attentive staff too.

Must say the ambience in the garden is tremendous. Really enjoyed it, we had a table close to the wishing well,it was absolutely beautiful. A natural spring flowing right besides us and the birds twittering. Must say, keep it quiet but I would would highly recommend this place for a tea and scone. A little disappointing however they did not do evening meals.

Very fun stop while sightseeing. We popped in on a whim and they were able to take us despite being busy. I wish we could of had a high tea, but that requires reservations. The gardens are really pretty, although the wasps were out in force.

This is one of those places one is reluctant to review for fear of it becoming too popular! Absolutely delightful little tea room/ restaurant with cheerful staff and varied menu of very tasty offerings. Whatever you do, don't miss a stroll through the water gardens - the source of the river Wey.

We had a splendid visit. Loved the lush water gardens. Capacious High Tea. Staff were lovely and so friendly. Gave us a box for uneaten cakes. Not just tea but coffee too. Cracking lunch to be had too. Book the day before.

Visited Upwey wishing well tearooms a second time with my son and husband. Wonderful service and choice of foods. My son had a chocolate cake which he enjoyed. They have plenty of options for all dietary requirements. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
