Visited for the first time today for afternoon tea for our daughters birthday. We had our own room upstairs with a view. The afternoon tea was lovely and served in a vintage tea pot with cups and saucers and side plates. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Fab cafe with great owners and staff. The food is all home made no chips on menu which is a great change from every other cafe in town. Cream teas are great value and the home made quiche is very tasty. Definatly worth a visit and a plus point is dogs are allowed.

Popped into say hello and thanks to John, we sat just inside the door and didn't realise two other dogs in the cafe. Proper cup of tea with a pot to too my cup up and sorry I didn't try the scones after getting into conversation with a couple who had returned on holiday and made straight for the cafe and John's food. Warm friendly atmosphere staff are interested in you and enjoy working there. See you again soon

After wandering past this place literally hundreds of times, the coldness of the winter rain brought us in seeking coffee... and wow - what an undiscovered gem this place turned out to be! The staff are ridiculously friendly and accommodating (customer service/interaction at its absolute finest); the positioning (overlooking the esplanade/beach) is simply stunning (even on a blowy, rainy day); the interior has this wonderful rustic kind of effect (think lots of wood and chalk-paint) to it which is just a delight; and the food - well, it was simply exceptional. Home made cakes, super-fresh vegetation (we had salads, so can vouch for that all important freshness personally), and LITERALLY THE BEST COFFEE IN WEYMOUTH (we tried cappuccino and latte.) Seriously... so many places in this town just don't know how to 'do' a decent coffee, but this place has nailed it! For the coffee alone we shall return. So yeah, a beautifully quaint little cafe which really personifies the local area with a great atmosphere. Perfectly welcoming and brilliantly tasty! Totally and utterly recommended (by two locals who really should've popped in sooner.)

Fantastic lunch in the most beautiful setting. Everything made fresh, friendly service and a comfortable light and airy café. So good that we returned for afternoon tea, managed to get the window seat on the first floor and devoured delicious cake and tea whilst taking in the view. Can't recommend it enough!, thank you for being so welcoming, we will return :)

Afternoon tea to die for! Amazing sandwiches (the bread rocks) and the lightest scones ever as well as lemon drizzle cake, coffee and walnut cake and chocolate mousse cake. Delicious, thanks so much

Visited three times this weekend. The local crab sandwiches are to die for! John and his staff are lovely and the upstairs seating is quieter and has amazing views. I love the real tea pots and cups and saucers. Will be a regular now we have found it.

We had a lovely visit to Good Life Cafe today, all 4 of us and our pooch Ted were welcomed. We had a Victoria sponge so fresh it was literally being jammed and icing as we arrived. Tasty coffee... Warm welcome to the pooch, water available. Would definitely recommend and return when we are down this way again.

My five sisters and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here yesterday! The food was great and John and his team provided a wonderfully friendly service, as always. This is my favourite cafe, and after yesterday, it’s certainly the place where my family want to go whenever they visit. Thank you and well done!

The Good Life Cafe looks out onto Weymouth beach and is a prime position for a snack. It has wooden floors and panelling and has something of a past times charm. My wife had tea and a second, and I had a fish finger sandwich and coffee. The fish finger sandwich was very good. We both enjoyed our meals.

We've been visiting this place for years in it's previous incarnations (but not since Covid) and the new owners have definitely done this place proud. Very friendly and quick service, delicious coffee and food, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available, including milk alternatives and it's dog friendly. Parking is on street nearby & it has good views across to the beach. It should definitely be on your list to try!

The cafe is so cozy makes you feel at home, away from home. Service is so fast and the crew are friendly, welcoming each guest very warmly. The food is of top quality and surely made fresh. Overlooking the beach while having breakfast is the most serene breakfast one could ever have.
