Fantastic meal. Can’t praise this place enough, worth coming to Weymouth just for this restaurant.
Absolutely amazing food and personal service. I can't recommend this place enough
We found this place by chance today and what a find. We both went for the cod loin and it pleased even a neurotic person like me....Both the food and wine menus had a good variety of options and I expect that given the chance, this place will become massively popular. Great service by both the waiting staff and chef. Plan to make a return visit soon.
A very special and delightful find. A special place for a special and memorable meal. Definitely in the top 10 places we've ever eaten. Chef very attentive, exceptional quality for very reasonable £££
Fantastic meal for my birthday. And Father’s Day. Had the sea bass which was amazing.
Lovely touch that chef Eric comes over to talk to you during your meal. Food is all cooked fresh and is amazing. We will be back!
Amazing food and professional service and a wonderful place to go and eat
really nice lunch we had , the best cooked sea base in the whole of Weymouth and we have tried a few.
We dined at Les Enfants Terribles for the first time yesterday for our wedding anniversary celebration. We were delighted with the welcome, the food, the wine and the ambience even on a quiet midweek night. It is clear that Eric the chef is a perfectionist. Every part of the meal was excellent but we particularly enjoyed the delicate and tasty Sea Bass en papillote. The Apple Crumble, too, was a subtle and delicious mix of taste and texture, far removed from the sugar overload so often found in desserts. It was also a very generous portion; we will be sharing if we have it again! It was a delight to find a reasonably-priced local restaurant offering food and service to match the best we have found worldwide and we look forward to dining there again especially when we want to mark the occasion.
What a lovely find! Staying in Weymouth for a week, we were looking for a restaurant that served great seafood! Reading chef Eric's profile, we went with high expectations. He did not disappoint! The four of us had the 'feast' festival menu and the quality wasn't compromised at all, given the £25 deal price. We all had the French onion soup to start, which had an amazing depth of flavour! We were told it is cooked for over 48hours. 2 of us had the seafood linguine and the other 2, the seabass 'fish of the day' - perfection. The creme brulee to finish was exceptional. I am looking forward greatly to visiting again next October!!! Thanks Eric & team.
The best tricolour salad on the planet for starters, check. The loveliest moules (avec cream) with some roast vegetables, like ratatouie, but better, check. A spoonful of my husband's date panacotta, (sublime,) check! What beautiful food. My sister said the salmon and sauce served, were the best she had ever tasted. Try this place for a real treat. Do it the French way and don't be in a hurry.
Stunning food. I had the salmon with the most wonderful sauce. Went there tonight with my sister and her husband and we really did have a great culinary experience. Had a laugh with Eric, the owner and chef and waitress, Patricia...with a 'floater' coffee. Lovely people. So good I've booked to go with a friend on Friday. Try this restaurant...you'll have a great meal.
We had Eric’s signature dish the sea bass which was great
Just found this little gem, we had sea-bass in fennel, leek and orange, and it was one of the best fish dishes I have had, the staff and owner are very friendly, and looked after us, a very lovely evening, thank you all, see you again next time.
It's a pretty good restaurant, i dont know what to say more... they are really nice and the food is hot and cold at the same time it's amazing
Awesome seafood restaurant. Newly opened and well worth a visit. So glad we went. Delicious twists on classic dishes as well as inventive flavours on this fusion menu. Loved it.

A high quality French seafood restaurant on the harbour side in the pretty seaside town of Weymouth. French chef and owner Eric has created a great place to relax and enjoy super food down by the sea with lovely views in this little restaurant. We had clams in a punchy flavourful cream sauce. A huge kilo of mussels, gently warmly spiced tiger prawns and some beautifully tender whole bass in foil papillot. Will definitely be back.

Good morning all, and have a wonderfull day !!!
As always Flat Eric...
We really enjoyed yesterday's French meal as prepared by the very talented Eric and his team. I had the mussel special for my main and it was exactly as I like it - a beautiful, strong white wine sauce with perfectly cooked chips to dunk in it. The apple and walnut cake went down a treat with a glass of Sauternes and the post meal coffees were very nice with what we thought were homemade Amaretti biscuits.
We always try and get the opportunity to try Weymouth seafood when we're in the area and Les Enfants Terribles does it proud. I'd love to come again in the future and try the fish and chips - any excuse to have more of the chips! Thanks for a great meal.
We were in Weymouth!
It was the last evening of October 2023!
It was raining and blowing a hoolie!
That is until we entered ‘Les Enfants Terribles’!
We were met by Chef Eric and immediately transported to a sultry romantic evening somewhere in France!
It was warm and inviting, with the lighting, the music and the aroma of French cooking!
We were shown to our table by Kieran our brilliant waiter for the evening, where we ordered a beautiful bottle of Merlot.
My partner chose the seafood soup from the 3 course set menu starters and I opted for the grilled squid on a bed of chickpeas!
Both starters were cooked to perfection and delicious.
Another glass of Merlot and on to the main courses!
My partner choosing the Portland crab with tomato salad and fries which she adored!
My choice was Chef Eric’s signature dish of whole Seabass fillets with leeks, carrots Fennel and white wine, cooked and served in foil, which was the finest fish dish I have ever eaten!
Desserts were chocolate cheesecake and a calvados based liqueur coffee to finish off a fantastic experience, with the stars of the show being the Seabass and Grilled squid!
Chef Eric was on hand to answer our questions regarding his food and showed genuine interest in us!
Kieran, our waiter, being so attentive and professional made our dining experience a joy!
Thank you again Chef Eric and his team!
I really want to have the fish soup but unfortunately they can’t serve the full menu unless you book in advance. You can only have the walk in menu therefor I am very disappointed. We ordered the full platter but the mussels had one or two of off therefore they spoiled the rest, apart from that I do like it.
If you haven't been, you absolutely need to, the food is amazing and customer service is excellent.
They were happy to cater for my food intolerance and didn't disappoint!
Sat outside at this restaurant in Weymouth yesterday, great food and friendly staff. We had fish and chips which was superb, not huge but just the right amount and great flavour.
Such a great restaurant, with a menu that reflects local produce and seasonal dishes.
The wine selection offered great choice, we went with the house white, shout out to the creativity with the label.
Our children had the beef linguine, which was superb.
We had the specials, mackerel & trout (amazing)
Overall, superb restaurant that offers exceptional seafood.
(Hats off to the Poole Oysters - giants!)
Will definitely come again.
Came here for my partners birthday meal which was on Monday but they're closed then so we came on the Saturday before, I had mentioned this to the waitress and when she brought out our deserts she put a candle in his cake! Such a lovely gesture! we received a courtesy call during the day to say they were very short staffed so they were running on a reduced menu, this wasn't an issue at all and meant we ordered items we wouldn't usually go for, all of the food was absolutely incredible, really fresh and beautifully prepared! The service was great and the chef came out to greet each table especially and explained the short menu, which was a really nice touch, the only down side was that one other table was very loud, drunk and obnoxious which was a lot to deal with in quite a small venue. All in all a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!
Fish platter for two was a fantastic experience. Great service and Chef Eric catered to all our needs.
Delicious cooked to order food. Chef Eric was very attentive, speaking to every diner about his menu. He couldn't be more accommodating in relation to my husband's unusual food allergy. Would definitely eat here again if we were local.
We have been to Chef Eric’s restaurant more than once and the food is fabulous. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and Eric is a great host that makes you feel extremely welcome and cares about your dining experience.
Thank you for another wonderful culinary experience.
