Excellent food and service from this establishment. Stopped off whilst travelling down the river wey for Sunday evening dinner. Definitely recommend, plentiful portions on the set meal deal.

Not easy to book. Tried several times by phone, but no reply or busy. I resorted to email and got confirmation, but then lost the booking on night. Managed to seat us anyway, but was more rushed.

I booked the Pearl of China for family birthday and a celebration of life for 10 people. For ease of ordering we had both set menus (including the vegetarian one as their veg dishes, like the aubergine, are incredibly good too). We also ordered a few of our favourites, the crispy beef and ma po tofu. The food never disappoints and we are a Chinese family, with a great chef whose life we were celebrating, so we know good Chinese food and this is really good. No MSG is used which also means the food, while still delicious feels cleaner and better for you. Wei and her staff are also wonderful. As a special touch they decorated our table with a birthday balloon, banner and even made us a apple and banana fritter cake with candle. We usually order take away from the Pearl of China, but it was fantastic to have the in restaurant experience too. Price wise; of course it's not the cheapest, but it's not the most expensive, it's well priced for the excellent quality you get. We are very lucky to have such a good Chinese restaurant nearby with seriously good chefs from Hong Kong. We love it! Best around.
We wanted to try somewhere new and what a pleasant surprise! We’ve ordered set A and added a few extras and they were all delicious. We especially like the hot and sour soup, special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
Great food, excellent service and good atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Price is reasonable for the portions you get. Would recommend
Haven't been here for a few years and was not disappointed. Great service and wonderful food too. I recommend it and we were a table of 5.
