Amazing hospitality and service from Catherine and the team at Sant’ Angelo! Tonight was our first visit of many! An hour and a half drive was definitely worth it! Delicious food, friendly and attentive team, and such a welcoming atmosphere! 10/10, would definitely recommend. See you again soon!
This place provided a great evening on Thursday with a Whitney Houston tribute singer on the place was rocking. Dropped on late 9.15pm was not turned away managed to get us a table in the conservatory.

Visited this lovely hidden gem yesterday, as I was lucky enough to win 2 free complimentary pizzas. Was shown to a lovely outside eating area that was huge and private. The staff were lovely especially the young girl who served us. Delicious homemade pizzas with a lovely thin crust. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend to all my friends and family ���.

Went for a meal last night , restaurant was very busy but this made no difference to the excellent level of service . Staff were friendly and the food was excellent , even my 18 year old son said his was also impressed with his food ( he can be a bit of a food critic). We would definitely go again .
We had a meal there on Wednesday. Service,food and staff were all lovely. Restaurant was busy and it had a buzz to it. I would highly recommend the restaurant to everyone.
We went for the tribute band Drifter s and what a fantastic night it was, the meal was spot on reasonable price too the music just made it. Also not forgetting the staff all spot on 🖒🖒🖒
Lovely place from the outside I was bit like oh was expecting something different but once inside the front is a lovely cafe/bar area and the back opens in a beautiful restaurant serving fabulous food and drinks. So many options to choose from. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Will definitely be returning. Maybe will give the afternoon tea a try as that looked amazing. Thanks for a lovely lunch

The character of Sant' Angelo's in Wetherby, is one which stands out of the crowd. Having visited a few times, whether for birthdays, anniversaries, or just for somewhere to grab a quick bite and drink, I have never been disappointed.
From the main, side, or rear entrances, the first thing that hits you, is the beauty and elegance of this place. It is a warming atmosphere alone that stays with you.
Food wise, I have never been disappointed (as many people have claimed having to wait for their meals), I have to disagree. A Spaghetti Bolognese takes time to cook and prepare, it is not done in pre-bulk prep like other restaurant's do. The short wait is worth it and it is served hot.
With its varied menu there is not a single meal that I could recommend, because though my above favourite dish is preferred, I have indulged in others, including Pizza, Scampi and Lasagna. All of these in my opinion were value for money, and all followed by a desert, which was equally delicious.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sant' Angelo's, whether for those living local, or afar, you will discover a beautiful restaurant with a big heart for the Italian dishes that it serves up. There is also the Music Nights, too, which will never cease to entertain the movers and shakers among you.
I should also add, that there is soft beverages for those designated driver's who wish to enjoy getting out and not being restricted. Teas, coffees and soft drinks are offered to these great people who look at the sensible side of dining out.

After taking my wife and two twin daughters to Sant' Angelo's for a birthday meal, the experience was most satisfying to say the least. The Meet and Greet was polite, the showing to our table comfortable and the ordering of our meals to the point of being served was excellent.
Some locals had told us not to dine out at the Restaurant for their experience was disastrous, but, we (My wife and I) would rather experience the setting, the service and the meal first hand before passing judgement. In the case of Sant' Angelo's, we have agreed to visit on all our birthday's and other celebrations, too, just to experience the warm hospitality of the restaurant and its warm, friendly staff.
Our daughters enjoyed watching their Pizza's being made by the Chef, while the light atmospheric music around the whole room was relaxing and not too loud so as to drown out our conversations. At the end of the evening we found that we were allowed to finish our meals and wait a while longer while we finished our drinks before asking for the cheque. It was neither rushed nor were at any time feeling scrutinised as to over staying our welcome there.
We would highly recommend Sat' Angelo's to anyone, whether you are visiting or if you are a resident of the Town itself.
Very good meal. We visited on a random Monday night. The sea bass was delicious. The starters were good. There were some choices on the children's menu that the picky little guy enjoyed. Overall nice meal.
I was treated to a birthday meal at this restaurant, the surprise meant all the more to me as my son is the head chef and I have always wanted to visit. Everything was perfect, the food was delicious, the service at the table was faultless, our waiter was a little gem. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a such special evening. Wetherby is not too far from Leeds/Wakefield and it makes a nice change from the cities. Parking in the Riverside carpark (free) it's a 4 minute walk up the highstreet but it's worth taking a few moments to enjoy the beautiful town itself too.

I thought the inside of the restaurant was lovely. The kitchen is open plan to the neatly presented dining space and there is a separate bar area just fir drinks. Personally, I would lose the take away pizza boxes building a wall on the pass but appreciate the realities of running a restaurant (it's the most practical place to store them)

I get the feeling the staff are fairly new, but they are young, friendly and trying their best. It wasn't perfect but it was genuine and it worked. Special callout to Luke who served us the majority of the evening.

COSTICINE DI MAIALE MARCO POLO - why are ribs sooo good! A healthy portion of succulent meaty ribs thicky coated in a rich sticky homemade BBQ sauce which had a hint of orange!
MOZZARELLA IN CARROZZA - In English this is a gooey cheese toastie deep-fried and served with a rich tomato sauce dip. The cheese pull was soooooo good.
PIZZA
MONTANARA - tomato sauce, fior di latte cheese, Italian fennel sausage mince, pepperoni, thin sliced pancetta, chilli flakes and grated parmesan. The pancetta and chilli flakes were lush 😋
PIZZA ALLA BOLOGNESE - homemade Bolognese sauce, pepperoni sausage and fior di latte cheese. This stole the show last night. Absolutely incredible to include big dollops of bolognese on the pizza.
CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUT SUNDAE - we kept it simple for dessert, didn't want all the toppings, this was just perfect with the gorgeous homemade ice cream 👏
Worth also saying the Calzone and Lasagne on other tables looked top 👌

Excluding the Pizza which was gifted we spent £30 so it would have been around £55 -£60 normally. I honestly think this is great value when the portion sizes are huge!

A strong 4.5 stars from me. I had a really enjoyable meal and the food was devine. I would have probably never have gone had I not been invited but I would encourage everyone to add this place to your lists, it's worth the short trip out to Wetherby!
One of the best Italians around. This Italian does some of the nicest food around Wetherby. If you eat in or takeaway the quality of food is fantastic. It is very reasonably priced too.
The range on the menu is very broad but still has true Italian feel. The choice of drink if that’s alcoholic or soft is really good. Sant’ Angelo’s also offers a great ice cream bar that has a variety of choices of different flavours.
The restaurant is a good location with free parking a 1 minute walk away. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very good and the staff are all very friendly. They offer a choice of seating both indoor and outdoor which is perfect for the warmer nights.
I would highly recommend a visits or a takeaway from Sant’ Angelo’s!

Twas the night before hogmany, the 30th ... We met our fellow foodie friendd for our final meal of the year and were delighted by every aspect of this fine and well frequented restaurant. Service, ambience, fine Italian fare and general satisfaction is what makes this a five star stop.
We came to St Angelo’s on the hottest day of the summer! It was 40°C and we needed a cold drink with ice and lunch! The Greek Salad they serve (with added juicy chicken) hit the spot! It’s my favorite salad ever now!
