Pound for pound, you will find it hard to beat the price of room, the location to use for a base while visiting this part of the world and cleanlines, in this area. Ideal for a short stay and convenient, with a standard that is expected. You may think it's just a busy service station, but don't let that put you off - really good value and for one, I was pleasantly surprised.

Always stop here. Good range of facilities. This time I enjoyed the meal deal from chow asian kitchen noodles and sticky chicken, prawn crackers and a drink. You can switch the noodles for rice if you prefer.

The motorway service station is a lifesaver on long journeys! It's a hub of convenience – fuel, food, and restrooms all in one place. Quick bites, hot coffee, and comfy seating make the pit stop enjoyable. Plus, clean facilities and friendly staff make the break refreshing. Whether it's a road trip or a daily commute, this station adds a dose of comfort to the journey, making it a traveler's best friend on the highway!

A beautiful place to recharge while on the road. Responsible drivers don't wait till they are tired to rest . They rest to avoid getting tired behind the wheel. Grab a bite meet for lunch or coffee. No alcohol allowed this place is family friendly

ANPR in operation here, so the car park is safe. Its also quite a large car park. Good services with plenty of places to eat. Indoor and outside seating area. Fuel station and a hotel within the complex.. Car park attendant in operation too.. You have to pay after you've been in the car park for a certain amount of time, which I believe is 2 hours. Dog poop bins around the edge available for use.

Probably our most visited motorway services, it's always quite busy but well staffed. Toilets have recently been renovated and are always clean. Plenty of choices for getting something to eat and drink, with a good sized seating area. Like all service areas, the prices are a bit high but it goes with the territory and nature of the "captive market territory". My only significant complaint with this service area is the mountainous size of the speed bumps in and around the car park. I understand the need for safety and ensuring vehicles are moving slowly while not on the actual motorway. Whatever the posted speed limit signs say, you really need to drop below 5mph to go over any of the speed bumps. For those with disabilities, back injuries, pain problems, driving over any of the speed bumps will cause a jarring discomfort no matter how slowly you go.

We drive and enjoy an Ev. Gridserve has roughly 12 fast chargers and 4 medium speed ones. It's a big service station, plenty of loos, food could be a LOT healthier, but looking around at the average customer, they've probably pitched it right :/ Would love it if they had real coffee on sale - not the chain rubbish that's everywhere. Easy access and very popular

There are plenty of options to eat and plenty of parking and seating. The toilets and whole area are always clean and tidy. If you need to stop nearby I would recommend giving this place a visit.

Good options for a services though queues are horrendous. Quicker to go to the fuel station as they have Marks and Spencer food to go here also, and Greggs if you must.

Quite a nice building to look at and be in. There is plenty of seating inside and out for fresh air people. Good variety of eating and drinking places. Good clean toilets for all. On-site Costa drive-through if required.

Handy services when I can't quite make the trip home in one hop. And you should use your Blue Light discount on all the outlets. Clean, spacious, good choice of food and drink. Nice outdoors seating if you prefer.

I love this services, great range of selection for things to eat, even a curry/ noodle bar thing. Loads of indoor and outdoor seating and clean toilets. Car park is a bit tight.

I had a quick stop on my way back from visiting family up in Newcastle, and what a nice little services it is. Me and mum stopped and had a coffee in Costa just before it closed and we had a quick look in WHS Smith. The toilets were clean and the staff in all places were really friendly, and there's ample seating inside. I was quite surprised to even see a very small gambling area inside.

One of the nicer service stations on A1. Plenty of choice for coffee and food. Big queue for Gregg's but we had coffee and sandwiches from Pret which were very nice. Petrol extortionate price!

Great place to take a break, plenty of parking lots of choices to choose from for food and drink. All that's missing is a little area that you can go to to relax properly, something like a little darish quiet room with lounger chairs with drink or tray tables. Somewhere if you want to close your eyes for an hour or 2, get a power nap before you carry on your journey.
