I found a light and airy decor with friendly staff. There was an enticing array of baked treats on display but I went for the last steak pie. The filling was good, however the pastry was rather thin and light. Perhaps that's the modern preference but I was expecting a more traditional heavy pastry t
Lovely and new, great staff and decor. Stock in trade is pie and salad, and cake. Meat pies look good and available to take away as well as eat in, vegetarian options are more limited with a couple of flavors of quiche, but still nice. Salad alongside is very nice.
Cake and coffee certainly acceptab
Just been today first class service on a wet busy day. Had coffee and scone £3.80. Best warm scone ever. They do fruit or walnut with butter both excellent.This place is great value. Don’t miss it if you are visiting.
This is a lovely cafe. The coffee is excellent and the range of cakes/bakes were very tempting. In these Covid days I have to mention also that it was well-organised, well-spaced, clean, safe and well-equipped with sanitiser, etc. Great place for a coffee stop. Highly recommended.

What's not to like.?
I've tried the flapjacks, brownies and treats. Just opened the handmade chocolates and they are to die for, downside is there's not enough in the box they are soo moreish!
We love to go to costellos at Wetherby the coffee is the best in Wetherby and the service from Sarah hope is perfect. They are a pleasure to be around. Gwyn and Glemm
