Stopped here by chance when the motorway was closed. Coffee and lovely lemon drizzle cake cheered us up and staff were so helpful lending their ipad to look at the latest updates. Thank you so much for the tasty biscuits you gave us to help us survive the snowy journey home!

A lovely cafe near the free parking area. The cafe overlooks the weir. Lovely selection of food, drinks etc. Seating outside with dogs welcomed. The toilet was immaculate with everything needed for baby changing, clean flannels to dry hands. The WC was upstairs. Selection of goods for sale within the cafe.Staff were very polite.

A lovely quintessentialy English tea rooms & café. There is indoor & outdoor seating waited on by friendly staff serving a superb selection of expertly prepared food drinks & mouth watering cakes. I chose a Chicken Ceaser Salad which was absolutely delicious with a plethora of fresh salad including cucumber & tomatoes (which not many other cafés offer!) Overall our visit here was a delightful stop off which I highly recommend visiting if you are in Wetherby.

Lovely little cafe and a great spot to have a rest. If you can get a table in the garden it's very relaxing.

Very pleasant café just close to the riverside and handy for the large, free car park. Fairly small inside, but lots of outdoor seating in the lovely garden area. Very relaxing. Prompt and friendly service. Also sells gifts, including assorted jewellery. They sell duck seed and duck bread too for the plentiful waterfowl just nearby at the River Wharfe's picnic area. (Bread not recommended food for ducks though, much as they voraciously eat it!) Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children's menu available. Also vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices. Reasonably priced menu. Home baking. I had the homemade mushroom soup, it smellt lovely. Not a generous portion but it was delicious. (Another ladleful wouldn't have gone amiss.) Good hot chocolate. Would revisit as friendly service, attractive environs and tasty nosh.

Lovely little coffee shop/gift shop. Sat inside as it was a little nippy, but lots of nice outdoor seating. Staff very nice. Had coffee and warm mince pies with brandy butter. Delicious! We were the only people there but imagine it should be busy in high season.

Great riverside setting. Pitcher of Elderflower, summer fruits (from garden) and lemonade sooo refreshing and home made scones and cream. A timely reward after walk from Spofforth via old railway track .

We had the most delicious strawberry and rhubarb blondie that was the highlight of an overall lovely meal! There was such a friendly atmosphere as if lots of people like us were stopping off on the way further north. Such an idyllic place as we’ll definitely be back!

A small but very friendly restaurant/cafe. A classic menu with a few twists. Tucked away right next to the carpark it is a little oasis of calm. We'll worth a visit if your looking for a place for kids/families or coffee and cake

Chanced upon this riverside oasis on long drive via Wetherby. Service was excellent and baking was mouthwatering with a cracking pot of tea to complete. Sat in beautiful garden enjoying the view and would go out of my way again to visit. Extensive tempting menu.

Delightfully situated beside the River and able to sit in the garden. Swift and friendly service providing a delicious piece of cake and cup of tea. Sadly no ground floor accessible toilet 😢 but I will return, after a necessary visit to Morrisons!!
