Traditional "Cafe". Simple Menu but everything well done. Many Breakfast items, Jacket Pots, Sandwiches. Homemade Cakes. Large seating area. Friendly efficient Staff.
After an additional visit I have to mention The Bacon Sandwiches are fried as requested. My "extra crispy was SOoooo good.
A great little proper cafe, down to earth, clean and great food how a cafe should be. No fancy trimmings just good grub and good prices. One to remember. Found this place along our route on a Google search so hope this review helps others.
We have been several times and each time we have had Brilliant food and experiences. We had the cheese and onion quiche and coffee cake which was absolutely awesome in our most recent visit. Every time we have had very friendly customer service. We cannot recommend enough!
Great friendly cafe, plenty of home cooked food to choose from with big portions. Lots of free parking and seating outside are available. Highly recommended a visit.
Love this cafe. The breakfast is amazing. Not just slopped on the plate looks appealing and not dripping in grease. Also prices a good and the cakes OMG love them absolutely gorgeous. Come on a Sunday for the carvoit but really I only come for the cafe 😁 keep up the good wrk. And Tim is so friendly when serving customers and the rest of the staff. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed
Called in on Saturday with my wife and dad for a coffee and slice of cake, absolutely delicious cake and nice coffee.
Will definitely be visiting here more often, looking forward to trying a breakfast, they look tasty!

Delicious food for both humans and dogs! Extremely quick, efficient and friendly service and the place has lovely decor. A warm and welcoming atmosphere - both myself and Vince love it (so do his other mother, his shepherd siblings and rommie dog friends).
The staff made me feel really welcome and it was good value for money. I can't wait to come again and neither can our dogs!

Nostalgic feel to the cafe, we both had the Great British which was delicious and the value for money was incredible, 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks less than £20! Bargain.
Staff were all lovely too.
We took cakes away with us, best flapjack I've ever tasted and the cakes were great too and still fresh 3 days later when we got round to eating them.

This really is a little gem and long may it stay! Our first time and I was totally blown away by the friendly atmosphere. Food was hot, and the tea?! Comes in big bigger and biggest sizes which is perfect. The best example I can give, my son (under 2) loved the scrambled eggs (he never eats these over backed bean 🤯) so its5* from him too! Cost was incredibly reasonable for the food. Menu had a wide range cakes and pastries, hots foods and home comforts. Drinks ranged in different hot and chilled. Again thank you for offering my son a room temperature drink. ❤️

Worth noting that the café closes mid afternoon so be sure to arrive in good time for the hearty food, always served with a smile!

From walking in the door to leaving belly full. The customer service is incredible! And the food was amazing!
I highly recommend the beef sandwich.
The amount of fine sliced top side beef which was cooked to perfection, accompanied by just the right amount of onions and gravy, not too much to make the bread soggy and not too little to require further condiments made this sandwich one I wish I had more room for to have another.
I wish I lived in the city so I could visit daily!

I go here nearly every Tuesday for a coffee and a bite to eat, the people who work there are really nice and friendly, last time I went I had apple pie, hope they've got some more next week it was lovely 😋
Don't be fooled by the outside.. this place is a little gem. The staff are so friendly but most importantly the food is delicious, proper Yorkshire portions and value for money. What more do you want. Can't recommend enough.
Generous portions, if your hunger your going to be happy, good ranges of choice, service is good, and important for me, tables cleaned as vacated
