The Wheatsheaf Inn Restaurant - Wetheral - Photo album

This is very much a village PUB rather than a restaurant. Not a place to go if you want a quiet meal. But a great place if you want to socialise.
I had some time to kill, fending off boredom I headed the the Wheatsheaf. What a wonderful pub! Friendly locals and excellent staff. I came in myself and the locals / regulars were quick to accept me into their company and chat away. Next time I’m in the village I’ll happily pop back in!
Lovely pub. Friendly staff who greeted my dog with biscuits! The goats cheese starter was absolutely divine, easily a two person portion as far as starters go. The mushroom tortellini special of the day was also sublime. The veg curry was ok but the main thing that stood out for it was the onion chu
Great food, service and atmosphere. It's great to see a busy pub. If you're into your desserts try the salted caramel brownie. Very tasty.
Good village pub. Me and my wife came to wetheral for our 9th wedding anniversary at the weekend and stopped here 3 times. Only strange thing was there's no smoking on astroturf but you can smoke right next to it on the concrete. Nice beer and outside area was spot on.
Delicious food, lovely environment, friendly staff, good ale, all in all a lovely experience, have been several times recently love the place
Popped in for a quick pint and packet of crisps during an impromptu dog walk. Excellent pint of Corby Ale awesome barmaid and XL crisp. Sat outside lovely beer garden.
