It was our first place to visit last week during a family holiday. Lovely place with beautiful seaview. Family friendly place with children. Quick service and helpful staff. Highly recommended place in Westward Ho! Thank you for lovely food and drinks, we enjoyed it 😊

Nice clean bar overlooking the westward Ho! Beach. Nice selection of beers and wine. Good food and nice atmosphere. Friendly efficient staff in a busy tourist location. One small criticism, they only except cards, no cash

What a lovely place. Staff are all amazingly friendly and the food was absolutely gorgeous ( great portion sizes too ). Also - love the decor, particularly the lights!

We spent the best part of the day at westward Ho! We went for dinner here on the 21st September 2023 & had the best food. I had a chicken & wild mushroom pie, mash, cabbage & gravy & my partner had the chicken burger with chips & salad. We both finished everything on the plate as the portion sizes were just right. This set us up for the afternoon of crabbing & swimming. Lovely staff too

First up the menu is a little restrictive but in this case it’s a good thing. The food is done pretty well, burgers not dry, the coleslaw (more pickled cabbage) is good, the other half loved her kebab. And flexibility in meeting food needs (in this case GF) was on point and the kids felt stuffed. Plus food served in a timely fashion by friendly staff. For the offer they have they do it well comparatively. Worth the visit based on what I experienced on Monday.

Visited tonight for the first time for dinner and were met by a lovely, friendly waitress who quickly recommended us a table with a sea view. The food was great! It arrived quickly, plentiful portions and there were lots of vegan / vegetarian / gluten free options. The waitress was so friendly, she told us she had had a really busy day but was still so upbeat and chatty. Will definitely be back for another sunset dinner!

First time eating here and it was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you want a quiet and peaceful meal then this may not be the best place for you as it can get very loud and noisy with holidaying children. The dishes that my partner and I had were very nice. My only disappointment was that the menu was quite sparse so your choice is quite limited.

This must be Westward Ho's best kept secret. We were fortunate to be passing and its a fantastic bar & restaurant. We sat upstairs that had amazing views at every table. The food was fantastic and finally a place that does good kids food. The fish and chips on the kids menu was impressive. The staff deserve a mention as they were excellent too.

We were a family party of 6. The food in the indoor café was excellent and the staff were lovely and friendly. After eating, we two oldies sat in the outdoor café while the young ones went to the beach. The staff were very happy for us to rest our bones for an extensive time, and I had my first delicious milkshake at the grand old age of 84. Would definitely go back if we holiday in Devon again. :)

Not visited for a while. Clean, airy, fabulous views. Lack of cushions on chairs make this a little unwelcoming for me, especially on a bleak weather day. We both had Korean Chicken Burgers, with chips and a very yum carrot and red onion salad. Very tasty meal, a bit overpriced. Lovely helpful staff. Good disabled access and a lift to the top floor with breathtaking views. Dogs are welcome in all areas 👍👍👍

Wandering past and decided to stop for lunch. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but take the step and pop in. We sat upstairs and got a lovely view of the people outside struggling with the wind. Quite amusing. The three of us ordered food and drink and waited for it to turn up. Will just say they were very accommodating with slight changes, e.g. chips not fries. I had a cheeseburger and it was so nice. Quality ingredients. The chips were ace. Proper thick chips. The wife had falafel and she commented on how lovely it was and the boy had kofta and again, loved it. All of us had a great lunch, in a relaxed environment. Brilliant lunch. Just under £60 for three meant and three drinks. Generous portions. Dogs welcome.

Dog friendly eatery as long as the dog is well behaved. It's facing westward ho! beach which is an added attraction. You can sit in and enjoy the views. Food was ok.. Order to be placed at the counter and food is served at the table.
