Atlantic Bay Fish & Chips - Westward Ho! - Photo album

Staying locally we opted for a visit to the local chip shop - the Atlantic Bay. The place was very busy, and you can order via self-serve kiosk thing. We picked what we wanted and the kiosk was fairly easy to use (we couldn't find the curry sauce until we realised you could swipe up to move screen!)
When you go to the seaside, you have to have fish and chips, right? Two of us shared a large fish & chips and had a homemade pea fritter and some onion rings. I'm not a big pea fan, but the fritter was really nice, if a little greasy. The fish was lovely. The prices were about standard for fish and
Nice fish and chips, very busy when the weather is nice. Friendly staff. One criticism, even when busy make time to clean the tables, you need to look after the locals.
Great fish and chips, especially the fish. The mushy peas were fantastic too which is unusual for mushy peas. Portions were quite large so we had one large cod and chips for 2 people.
Amazing local chippy food tasted great stuff very kind had a lovely outdoor seating area which was clean and had a lovely view of the beach noted the staff are so kind that as they were shouting they were looking for friendly dogs to feed any of the leftover sausages which I thought was really kind
The food was tasty, I could not fault it. I think the very young staff did an excellent job considering the popularity of the establishment. Its definitely not the cheapest fish and chip shop around, but that is to be expected in a busy tourist sea side town. The wait time was not too horrendous co
Lovely food, made to order. Service was a bit slow despite it being off-season but on the flip side it was made very fresh. Nice covered seating area in case of rain good view. All in all recommend.
Visited on a monday for gluten free batter. This was excellent, as was the regular batter. Chips perfect, fish perfect, mushy peas perfect. Generous portions, online collection dead on time, friendly staff. The best FnC we have had in a good while. As a real sea side bonus you can eat them outsid
The best fish and chips we have had for years. Good service by pleasant staff, short wait, piping hot and perfectly seasoned. The one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay in Westward Ho! Thank you.
Lovely fresh fish n chips, served promptly, great children's menu with just enough chips. Shop was lovely and clean, very easy to use the self order kiosk. Would use again if on holiday in the area.
Lovely fish and chips and great they do Gluten-free on Mondays!!
Some of the best fish and chips I've had! Would absolutely recommend a visit!
Good chippy. Sat on the sea front, watched the sunset and ate chips, scraps and mushy peas.... Perfect!
On arrival at Westward yesterday evening, after poor weather conditions & a long journey, the sun had come out. We were quite hungry & just happened to stumble upon the Atlantic Bay. The weather had bought lots of customers out too it seemed as it was very busy. The 3 staff handled the rush really w
The perfect seaside chippy! The chips are the perfect balance of fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the portions sizable. I went for the pea fritter as a healthy option. My brother got some curry sauce, which was just the right amount of gloopy with a rich curry flavour. Definitely r
We had hands down the best fish and chips that we have had in a very long time here. It was quite busy and there was a fair wait, but god it was worth the wait! We sat on the bench on the promenade and ate it as all the benches were full. We enjoyed the view while we ate our extremely nice fish and
It gets very busy here at times and a few of the staff struggle to cope with that and can come across as quite rude while others are a joy to speak to. The food is of great quality and not too bad price wise for the location. Would recommend
