What a fabulous tea room close to the beach at Westward Ho. I've never seen so many delicious cakes on display. Spoilt for choice. Ate a wholesome sandwich for brunch followed by one of the biggest, indulgent individual meringues I've ever seen. A cake lovers dream venue.

Very good selection of cakes, teas and coffees (but no filter coffee listed😭). Lemon and blueberry sponge was excellent as was the summer fruits cheesecake (proper cheesecake not the horrendous American baked kind). Very limited space so worth booking. Staff friendly. Two negatives I'm afraid. Very hot inside needs some cooling even on a rainy day @ 18 Celsius. Tiles outside are very slippery in the wet, especially on the slope. I lost grip a fell even though I have no mobility issues

Came here last year for a cream tea and then seen the other food they did and had some lunch. Came back again this year and once again did not disappoint at all. Had my mum with us this time and wanted to take her for a cream tea. Was well worth it and if I am back in westward ho again I will definitely visit again. When we went the other day they were celebrating 15 years of business. What an achievement.

Excellent service. Tasty food. Beautiful cakes. Have been before and loved it then. Love it still. It’s so popular here - and I’m not surprised why! We had: - scones - delicious - blt - amazing - ploughman’s - impressive - salad - yummy And bought loads of cakes to take home and eat for later.

Great food and fantastic service. We called in on the off chance and even though they were full they offered to text us when a table was available. About 15 minutes later we had a text and returned. We had sandwiches and cream tea which was plentiful fresh and tasty.

Food amazing at very reasonable prices, cakes delicious, scone with cream tea enormous, tea served in a teapot. You can reserve a table too. Photos on the wall of outstanding actors, actresses and pop singers from the 1940's- 1960's. Music playing predominantly 50's & 60's which we loved. Staff friendly and helpful

We visited whilst in the area on holiday. There was tables available on our arrival, however; if its busy the owner will take your number and call you as soon as one becomes vacant, which is a brilliant idea. The staff were all friendly and offered top service. The food was delicious and was served in a very good time frame. I had the traditional cream tea with scones, these were beautiful and warm, fresh and full of raisins. My husband had the cheese and bacon on toast. This was a huge portion with chunky bread, large rashers of bacon, tasty cheese on a large bed of fresh salad. Cute little cafe with sweet decor. Clean and inviting with disabled access, parking in a public car park nearby and a cake selection to die for. 😍

Wonderful food. Generous portions. It is telling that it is difficult to get a table out of season. Savoury or sweet, this is the place to go come to. My favourite? 3 cheese crumpets. Oh, and one of the best cream teas I've had in a long time.

We had cream tea with the biggest scones I've seen. They were really delicious with generous amounts of jam and cream, and more tea than we could drink. The other cakes looked immense, thank goodness we only went in on our last day or I'd have had to visit again and again and again. Worth the trip to Westward Ho!

The best cafe I have ever been to. Its amazing. The food and drinks are fantastic. They have a huge selection of epic desserts and the cream teas are great. They even do double decker sandwiches. A must if you are in Devon. As someone who loves food, this is an amazing place.
