We booked in here as a group of 12 and they catered for us brilliantly. As we went on a Sunday a few of us went for the Sunday lunches and it was one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had in a pub. They do a Sunday dinner platter for 2 which gives the each person 3 meats. The vegetables and roast potatoes come separately to share but we found there was more than enough for a good meal. A little strange was that boiled potatoes where a separate additional item and was not included in the standard dinner. All the meals where well received and even though the price was appeared slightly high the quality of the food demanded the price. I would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area and it appears it's a popular location for locals which is always a good sign.

A fab stay at the five bells - we stayed for a friend’s wedding and couldn’t fault it. Clean, stylish rooms, good food and great service. Breakfast for the wedding group the next day was great - we had over 30 people and the food was hot, tasty and came out in good time. Big thanks to Jack, Jodie and Josh for their hospitality. Would love to come back.

Must admit I was pleasantly surprised by our lunchtime visit. Not expecting too much of a 'chain' pub/restaurant but this example was at the better end of the spectrum. Friendly staff, although clearly not enough of them. I had the sausage and mash - very tasty but a little skimpy on the mash. My friends had aubergine parmigiano (👍), steak sandwich (👍), and pizza (🤔- ok, nothing special). Prices for food and drink were reasonable Pleasant enough surroundings with nice log fire in the bar area. Plenty of free car parking. Would definitely visit again if in the area and download the Vintage Inns App ahead of time to get a discount.

Another away fixture for our football team near Stoke Mandeville. Thanks to Google maps we found a little gem of a pub -The Five Bells in Weston Turville, just 2 miles from the ground. A well appointed car park with plenty of spaces got us off to a good start. We got there slightly early for our table, but the pub was open. The interior furnishings were cosy, comfortable and a lovely open fire was just what we were looking for. The staff were very friendly and efficient, without being over attentive. When we left we were given a card telling us we were looked after by Alice, Martina & Barbara. They were great. Our food arrived in good time and well presented. I went for my favourite lunch, Gammon steak, eggs and chunky chips. My friends went for the fish and chips. Three empty plates were testimony to our enjoyment and their chunky chips would get a 5 star rating anywhere in the world! The food, drinks and coffee were all reasonably priced. They also have accommodation available. Would definitely return if in the area again. Our team won after a hard fought game to end off a very enjoyable day.

I really wanted to leave a review for this pub as it’s probably one of the loveliest pub/restaurants that we’ve been to in a while. My brother had his wedding reception there yesterday and it was probably one of the best weddings we’ve been to. The food was amazing and hot considering there were nearly 100 of us and all the staff were absolutely outstanding especially the stand in General Manager, would 100% recommend.

- Food was banging. Everyone had different meals and each of us cleared our plates. (Lots of options for member who was gluten free) - Bar staff Cat and Ellie some of the best. Down to earth and made the evening very enjoyable!

Food was amazing, drinks were very reasonable Only downside was that staff asked my husband if he wanted anything else and removed his plate whilst I was still eating. I have an illness that means I'm slower than him eating. This made me feel rushed and as if we had out stayed our time at our booked table We decided not to order desserts once I'd finished my main meal.

I stayed for 4 nights, lovely warm room with comfy bed and great shower. Karen in particular at breakfast is superb. Helpful, diligent and such a positive start to the day. Breakfast menu is excellent, lots of choice and they are very diligent around food allergies which is good to see.
