Enjoyed Sunday lunch, the roast pork was excellent, as was the Creme brulé. Good sized portions, and reasonably priced.
The staff were all very friendly, service was great
We booked a table in advance, looks a popular place, filled up very quickly .
So glad we came across this restaurant whilst on holiday what a gem, we had booked a show at the playhouse and was looking for somewhere to dine before the show. This restaurant was ideal as literally 2 mins away. We called in lunch time to make a reservation, and was greeted by a lovely day who took our booking and advised us what time to dine. This is a spotlessly clean, quirky family run restaurant. Our waitresses was really friendly and took time out to chat to us, we had the pork that was cooked to perfection followed by the Crème brûlée nice touch the chef (owner) coming out of the kitchen to torch it and have a chat. We would highly recommend this restaurant the food is delicious, the service is fantastic everything about it is 5 star +
Have tried to get in here to eat on many occasions , and can now understand why they are always booked ! The food is incredible and the service outstanding . We had the cauliflower bahji and goats cheese starter each , we ate half then swooped plates to try each others ! Then steak and belly pork to follow . Washed down with a bottle of Merlot , no room for pudding ! Cannot wait to go back !
Well what a little gem. First time visiting this restaurant last Sunday. A warm welcome by Lesley. All staff were very friendly and professional. Food was delicious and the local Ale was first class. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be booking a table here again. Thank you for making our Afternoon special. The Hardings.
Really great Sunday roast!
Generous portions, tasty sides and perfectly done pork 😍 I definitely recommend this place for a Sunday roast and I will definitely come back!
The staff was really friendly and attentive, great customer service!
The prices for food were average I think only the drinks were too expensive.
Amazing little restaurant, great atmosphere, staff are very friendly and attentive. The food options are smaller but everything is very well thought out and more focus on seasonal flavours. Would definitely go again
Popped in here before a show at the theatre the other night. They were fully booked but they still very kindly squeezed us in by putting us on the service table, which we didn’t mind at all.
The service was so kind and really top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. We both went for the fish & chips for our mains but despite it being a more basic option it was the most delicious fish & chips I’d had in years. And the Affogato dessert was divine.
Highly recommend this small but perfectly formed restaurant. Might be an idea to book though if you’re local or here for a few days like we are, and make it one of your meals out! Thank you Ginger Pig 🐷
Lovely place to eat. Food was amazing! Staff were friendly. Would highly recommend
Just got home from The Ginger Pig Kitchen. Great Sunday lunch,, the place was buzzin and the food and service was superb. Warm welcome on arrival and service throughout was 1st class.
If you have not been here, why haven't you ? 😂
This is top drawer, make sure you get booked in as it's worth it 💖
We decided to visit gorgeous Western Super Mare today, for a cheeky beach trip. One of my mates is celiac, so having to be careful where they eat, so we thought let's try this place out, and my mate is a ginger 😂 The staff are sooo lovely and the food is to die for..OMG..I would travel from Oxford every weekend to eat here.❤️ Were coming back, that's a promise!!!
