I must express my deep appreciation for this restaurant; it holds a special place as my absolute favourite. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. To begin, I savoured the impeccably prepared halloumi fries as my starter, and they were a delight. For my main course, I enjoyed a rare fillet steak, perfectly cooked to my preference. The chips were equally delightful. To cap off the evening, we indulged in espresso martinis for dessert. I must commend not only the cuisine but also the impeccable service we received. Every aspect of our visit was first-class. I wholeheartedly recommend Miller and Carter to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Our server Belinda was really lovely and friendly she made the experience great! She also took the effort to sort my bf a happy birthday message at short notice. Food was good, no complaints
Went in lunchtime which was quiet, the 3 corse set menu is exceptional value. Really well furnished and very welcoming with comfortable seating.
Food was good although the steak could have been better, drinks can be pricy though. Overall a great experience, would recommend.
Went here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. Food was gorgeous, staff were lovely and even went the extra mile to ask us if there was an occasion for us going and brought out a little surprise at the end! Highly recommended
Absolutely amazing time here, I came in with my girlfriend for our anniversary and we had Belinda as our steak expert, the service was the best I’ve had in any restaurant, the place is ran like a tight ship and the food will blow you away, will definitely come back again
Our first visit to Miller and Carter. A treat for our first wedding anniversary. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Lovely decor. Comfortable seating and a really nice atmosphere. Jordan, our waiter, was attentive and helpful. At the end of our meal he had decorated a plate with happy anniversary on it which was a fabulous finishing touch to our evening. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. Thank you Miller and Carter for a fantastic experience. 👏 👏😁
We enjoyed an amazing meal in celebration of my husband's birthday on 14th June. Nissy was brilliant; so friendly, attentive and an absolute pleasure to have as our server. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce sets your taste buds dancing!! A lovely gesture in serving a plate with some fruit and chocolate with "happy birthday" written on it. Yes, the prices are more than a standard steak pub meal, but you certainly get what you pay for!! The quality is in the taste and no other place can beat this in our opinion. Thank you for making this a memorable evening and special thanks to Nissy once again.

Absolutely lovely meal and a lovely server, Belinda who was very friendly, helpful and professional for our party of 4. The food was delicious and delivered to our table quickly. Belinda was very accommodating and keen to meet our requests and happy to chat about our holiday to Disneyworld! It was a lovely evening and will definitely recommend.
Went for dinner on a Monday Night. Quiet ish when we arrived then got quite busy before we left. Service was brilliant food was beautiful! Best steak I've had in a long time. Only annoying part was the mens toilet being out of use at one end and the women's being out of order at the other. Otherwise a great evening out.
Belinda was our server, she was so accommodating and lovely. Her smile was infectious too, honestly the nicest server I've ever met, she really was a delight.
Our food was perfect, my only remotely negative comment is that I think the lighting in the restaurant could be better, it's quite a strain on the eyes in there after a couple of hours sitting in there. Otherwise it's been beautiful.
The photo's do the food no justice. It was the best steak we've eaten. The service was 100% as was the food. Our first time going and would definitely go again and 100% recommend. Really was a lovely evening. The waiting staff were non stop. Making sure your glass was never empty and service was run really effectively. Couldn't fault anything. It was all perfect
The welcome we received was wonderful. It was lovely to see such a smiley face! Unfortunately it kind of went downhill from there.
We ordered our food and asked for a sauce to go with the steak and for the lamb to be very well cooked. The wrong sauce was delivered and if the lamb had been any rarer we could've sewn it back on the sheep! (it was also very fatty!) I found it very difficult to eat.
All the staff were extremely nice and a credit to the company but the chef/cook does need a few cooking lessons.
Food is always amazing. Only rated the atmosphere as 4 as we did come during the day and it's not as busy as it is during the evenings. Staff are always amazingly friendly and attentive. They are able to upsell in that nice way that leads you to purchasing desert when you don't really need it. Would recommend to any steak lover. I'm off home for a sleep.
It really didn’t disappoint. We’ve never been to anywhere that I would consider fancy before so we had no idea what to expect but we had a lovely time the food was amazing and so filling! The steak was well worth the money! The only things I would say we didn’t enjoy so much was the lettuce wedge with the steak and that we were sat so close to other people in such a large restaurant it would be nice to have a choice of slightly further away but those things really didn’t alter how much we enjoyed our visit.
Our waitress Belinda was incredible, she was attentive, asked about allergies and made us feel really looked after! She asked us if everything was ok (whilst we didn’t have a mouth full of food) and we never ran out of a glass of wine- and even did us a little surprise congratulations pud at the end as we were both celebrating. whatever manager sees this Belinda deserves a raise she’s the best service I’ve received in years!! X
