Great traditional fish and chip shop . Price is reasonable and friendly staff. The deco in this is dated and still function very well .
Compared with my last visit, a few years ago, there had been a massive improvement. A bit cramped and short on space and the food once ordered took a little while to arrive at the table, but when it did, it was worth waiting for! Fish cooked to order and not at all greasy. Mine was served with a wonderful freshly made salad and couldn't have been more delightful. My companions had the traditional seaside fayre of fish and chips and a refreshingly cooling ham salad with chilled bottled water. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff, despite being rushed of the feet due to the influx of trade, were helpful and courteous. Next time I visit Weston super mare, the regent will get my custom.
This place a classically old school! Its like a time capsule that brought back memories of my childhood holidays. The decor hasn't changed since maybe the 70's but that just adds to the character. We walked in to a very busy restaurant and found a seat without a problem. The food was ordered and ready within a couple of minutes and it was outstanding. My fish and chips was as good as I have had anywhere else. The kids meals were massive and everything was piping hot. Maybe the 5 stars are for the nostalgia of the place but I would highly recommend this trip down memory lane.

The food here is still the best chips n fish you'll get.
How much? Well for 2 fish n chips n mushy peas, 1 curry sauce, and 2 large cokes £23 (June 2019). Could have saved money using the takeaway (on the side of the chippy).
The food was plenty, and we even left a few chips.

The fishing chips are the best ever .I travelled from South Wales . I new the fish and chip are going to be . Like all the other times I've been to so tassy and a good price
. The staff try to hide when I walk through the door. Because they now I'm going to ask for a discount and complain about ever price they say but that's just me . First class food and really friendly staff .

Food was great, fish and chips by the seaside is a must. Drinks were a little pricey, the decor was dated but if it works for them then fine. Service was quick and efficient

The food was nice and it was like a blast from the past coming here as it's like going back to the 1980s and great if you want a basic meal but not a place for special occasions or to come out to just for food for the fun of it. I would return here.
Went for lunch (party of 10), fish was excellent, skinned and boned to perfection. Very accommodating with multiple children’s meals. Excellent!
Great little place to get a real feel from the sea side..only thing is most the fried food is done in the same oil..so if you're a vegetarian/vegan you would want the chips it's fried along with the meat/sausage.. vegetarian options isn't that great here
