Lovely little pub/restaurant with a decent amount of parking spaces. We went on a Sunday around 2pm. Was quite busy but no issue finding an available table. Myself and a friend opted for the chicken roast dinner - which was very yummy and amazing price - 2 for £15. What you'd expect for 'pub grub' style so if your wanting something a bit more 'fancy' then it probably isn't for you. Tasty though, arrived hot and filled me up. Didn't come with much gravy but staff were more than happy to grab a bigger gravy boat for us as requested. Had the millionaire cheesecake for dessert which was delicious 🤤
Outdoor seating area was nice, our children enjoyed making the most of the small play area while we finished off our drinks in the sun. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
Went mid afternoon on a Friday, it was quiet and pleasant, we had a couple of drinks to start while we scoured the menu. The food arrived and looked as good as it tasted. I never picked a big meal as I had my eye on the Apple and berry crumble with lashings of custard, the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I even complimented the young waitress on her service and the rest of the staff, especially the chefs.
Definitely recommend this lovely welcoming little country restraunt. Five stars from me.

This is a nice looking pub. The first time I visited was in a quiet time, the food was quite good. During the quiz night evening, when it was much busier, the food portions were much smaller. My family had fish, it was very small. The staff are quite friendly, and prices are resonable. There might even be a deal on drinks, but you might need to ask or look carefully for signs of this. The first time I visited, they told me about a cider offer. The second time, I had to ask if it was still on as they didn't offer it to me when I ordered my cider, but it was still available. I would recommend a visit if you're in the area.
My wife & I took a car out for a drive and popped into for a bite to eat, we hadn't been here for years so wanted to come back. Once inside there's plenty of seating to choose from and the atmosphere is quiet and chilled with ambient music playing. Menu is a good selection of appetisers, mains, desserts & drinks. My wife had the steak salad and I had the big plate tikka curry. Food is delicious just like we remembered but my wife said that there could have been more sauce. Staff are friendly, polite & welcoming. There is amusements machines for the kids & outside play area to keep them busy. Outside seating is available for smokers or those who like fresh air, plenty of parking around the establishment.
It has been a few years since I last visited this place. The interior has had a little revamp, so there is more privacy.
The food is excellent, having a steak and chips for myself and fish and chips for my partner, both meals cooked to order.

Kids love to run around outside a little, ideal for all ages, disabled access but the top car parks are higher and there are steps, it’s usually busy too. There are a couple disable bays.
It’s a big place and can get busy which adds to the vibe. A really good choice for a meal.
The food was incredible, maybe the best i’ve had. Staff were extremely friendly and it felt like a very homely atmosphere. Service was superb and the friendliness was 10/10.
Saw this place as we were coming back to our hotel and I'm so glad we stopped by. It had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, the portions were big and the prices were low! The staff were so kind, quick to deliver our orders and to answer queries. I will definitely be coming here again if we visit Somerset again!
I can't find a single fault!
Went in on a Thursday, car park was busy. Initial service was good but food delivery was on the slow side. That said waitress was nice and enjoyed the large main course. It's a hungry horse, so decent grun and right price.
Lovely quiet pub with a friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious meal and had excellent service. Special thanks to Jonah for being so polite and helpful.
