Nice place for the family. Meals are good size. Sunday carvery is ok. You dont get much meat and only do roast potatoes. No mash or boiled. Staff are friendly and as are the locals. Dog friendly area indoors aswell so thats a plus when its raining. Will go again sometime.
No chicken but beef and turkey. Turkey was beautiful but found beef tough. Plenty of veg but you can't go up and get more. One plate for £15. I've been to cheaper
Excellent food, Sunday Roast excellent... all cooked freshly. All round atmosphere... tolerant of children. Large outdoor play area. Friendly helpful staff.
The first thing I noticed about The Full Quart Hewish was how clean it was proving that pubs such as these can be clean! We we're greeted by an attentive, friendly waitress who remained so throughout the meal, so 4 stars for the housekeeping and hospitality staff. To get their final fith star the
Great Sunday carvery, 3 meats and help yourself veg. Last visited a year ago.Wasn’t too busy.Great attentive waitress friendly and polite.Nice big garden with play area.I thought it was a little expensive for the plate size.Worth a visit though.
Oh my gosh what can I say? Turns out this place is right next to the entrance to where we store our caravan and we went in purely because it was convent. However, the carvery was fab! We loved it! Good beer, good staff, great chef, LOTS of cauliflower cheese - what's not to like?
Stopped on way back to Bristol from Weston. Five star Ploughman’s - decent cut of ham, tangy cheese, nice crusty bread served with a refreshing dressed salad, pickles and slaw. Efficient and friendly service too. Dogs allowed in bar although sunny so we sat outside - nice kids play area too. Rate t
Popped in after a day's walking. Plenty of space and tasty food
Had to book a place to eat at the last moment and it was Mother's Day. This place had vacancies whereas others did not. The other reviews here aren't the best by far, but I needed a place to meet up with family and friends so the food wasn't a first priority. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by
A deliciously nice carvery although a tad expensive compared to other venues. Overall a good experience in a very well established pub/restaurant.
Excellent catering with a function room at the back. A bar and restaurant at the front. Really friendly and helpful staff. Definately worth popping in when you go past.
