The Blitz Tearoom - Weston super Mare - Photo album

A gorgeous little WWII vintage themed cafe. Great range of food and drinks on the menu at reasonable price, lovely friendly staff, who all dress similar to the vintage theme really adding to the feel of the place. Good location and nice spot to meet with friends. Food tasted great with generous port
What a revelation. Place was packed so luckily we had booked. Had a cream tea sandwiches, scones, jam and cream AND a fruit cake cooked with cider that you could taste. Staff was brilliant. Only criticism is the teapot could do with a cosy. small thing I know. We will be back soon. (three hour
Did they have Chai Lattes in the blitz? It's less about the food and more about the ambience with period decorations and music playing. When you're sitting there, everything just seems to slow down and feel more relaxed. The food available is very good but I think there could be a few more sandwich
We absolutely enjoyed this quaint tea room, full of nostalgia, wonderful atmosphere, alittle singsong to the old wartime songs, good service, lots of choice on the menu however we chose the afternoon tea Vera Lynn style , very good price- alittle mix up with e-mail booking but nothing that ruined
Great visit to the Blitz Tearoom. We booked online so not to avoid disappointment. We had a lovely greeting when we arrived. The food was amazing, went back in time with the Corn beef hash and oveltine followed by a huge slice of Victoria sponge. The museum section was full of nostalgia. Can't wai
Love this place with its old china crockery and menu styled as a ration book. Lovely food at great prices. Cakes are to die for. Can't recommend highly enough. Would recommend booking a table if you're going on a Saturday.
Food was really nice and plenty of it. Had an afternoon tea , quiche and ploughman's. Booking is recommended as place is small and very popular. Waitresses could be a bit more engaging with the customers. Had the atmosphere of a very efficient german cafe rather than the friendly welcoming atmosp
Such an amazing place to check out. This may not be one of the main tourist attractions, but it sure is a gem. The historical artifacts are so nice to study and the food was so lovely.
Came for a weekend to Western super mare, spotted this little gem. All the detail was there to make you feel like you were in the 1940's. Food is absolutely superb, tailoring to how we wanted it. We recommend visiting this Tea room. Very relaxed atmosphere. See you again soon... spiffing.
Beautiful little cafe. Takes you back in time . I wasn't born in 40s but its still a lovely historical place. Great memorabilia around you while the 40s music playing and you can tuck into a lovely cream tea or a wartime themed lunch or breakfast up to 12:00. The list of cakes is also amazing. Grea
We hadn't booked but the lady serving asked us to come back in 20 minutes and she would accommodate us. She was really friendly and the food was served promptly and well presented. The atmosphere was relaxed with lots of attention to detail. Would definately recommend 😁
A delightful place for a unique experience, there's a beautiful atmosphereof 1940's songs playing and lots of War memorabilia all around to admire. Delicious tea/coffee/got chocolate and an excellent range of cakes! The Afternoon Teas are amazing too!
This place is a little Gem, taking you back to War Time Britain, from the decor to the staff in original dress even the background music! The afternoon Tea was amazing you will not leave hungry. Get directions off Google as its a little bit back and definitely book before going as its very popular.
Went here with a voucher for afternoon tea. Service and food were excellent. Will definitely go again.
Lovely quaint tearoom that the captured the era well, a lot of thought has obviously gone into the theme. Delicious cream tea with a large pot of loose leaf tea to boot. Would highly recommend.
