Visited for roast Sunday lunch, the food is wonderful but get there early if you want to avoid a queue! Eating in the bar area will have many people standing at the bar waiting for drinks, or staff going to and from the cellar. The bars are the most atmospheric rooms to eat, but they just get crowde
We held my grandads funeral reception here and it was really lovely. The owner made the process really easy, the buffet menu provided a good selection at a reasonable price, and the venue had a nice atmosphere. Lovely place to visit. We was there for a wedding and I must say the venue was nicely set out , the food was great and service was top notch. My only reservation is to get to the second level requires the navigation of a few stairs which is not great if you have babies in push chairs like we did or

I can't speak highly enough about this place first the staff, they have been well picked for the roles, first class. We had a traditional roast and omg to die for. Tip book your table in advance and you will not be disappointed.
Somewhere a little different tucked away from the beaten track. Carvery and meals available set in a historic building with a huge fishing lake in its grounds. Great for a short walk or to sit outside with a drink and take a moment for nature. Well worth a visit.
