Considering we were they only people in the restaurant at 1pm on a Bank Holiday Sunday it took longer than expected to be served after placing our food order. When it came the food was good. Called in on spec. Looking for a good Sunday lunch. We weren't let down. Good service, good quality food. Had 2 courses from the set menu all good quality and good value. I'll be going back.
Stopped here for lunch, pleasantly surprised. We opted to share a few bits so ordered hummus, flatbread, olives and chips. All really good but the chips were the best chips I've ever tasted and that's saying something!
I must also state you cannot visit here without sampling the desserts. Wow! Not
Food is definitely five star.. I enjoyed the starters, main course and dessert.. Very unusual to enjoy all three.. And the service is so good.. Well worth the visit.. Highly recommended

Sunday roast was Outstanding, just a shame the it took so long to make it. No criticism of the waitresses who were great but it was far too slow between courses.
Went for the first time tonight for a meal all I can say was it was amazing. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend , the food was top notch .
Used to love sitting in the bar area with food ( please put the nachos back on ). Changed now nice idea the small plates in the bar area but the choice we went for had to be eaten in the restaurant which at llunchtime was cold and soulless .Great food I hasten to add.
Love the bar menu but went in last week and because they had a function on no bar food available, disappointed but its very nice , drinks are pricey

Great service, amazing food. Highly recommended. Sunday menu is cheap and of a high quality also.
Good pub with generous food. Does have a great service in managing events and can arrange buffet, dj, and bar for bigger events (I had a party for 130 there, was smoothly organised)
