A lovely local pub! This is our most local, we love it! Breakfast is as amazing as it looks 😊. I can also recommend the Nachos and chips 😋. My partner and I have been here a few times and the staff are always so friendly and polite. We will be back!!

Went midweek with a party of six. Lovely old world pub with very good food. Service although friendly was however a bit sketchy, with only one young female serving. Although though it was not busy, one dish was missed off the order completely. There is a car park at front of pub but quite small. Overall good and would return.

Stopped off on our way home for a bite to eat in the sunshine. The beer was good. We shared the scallops and black pudding and had a main each. Food was cooked fresh so at a relaxed pace which suited us well. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

A beautiful old pub full of character with great food and friendly staff. The rear has a nice garden with seating and a child's play area but we didn't get to use it so will have to come back! A hidden gem.

Lovely! Cool and peaceful for a light lunch on a hot summer Sunday. A proper traditional country pub; good food, varied menu, local beers, and wonderfully free of music. Such a rarity and so good. Thank you!

Had a great lunch at the Fox and Hounds with a large group of retired colleagues yesterday. The food was really good and the service efficient and friendly. Thank you, F&H team, hope to be back soon.

Friendly staff and good food. Service was a little disorganised at times, but they had just opened when we arrived so could be forgiven. Prices are very good for the size of the meals. Play area in the back for children along with outdoor seating.

Love this pub. It’s a little out of the way but the food and beer are excellent. All meals are cooked to order but well worth the wait . Loads of history and some lovely nooks and areas to sit. Also a wonderful garden

Made welcome, a solo cyclist. A good range of beers, a tempting menu. I had the jacket potato with prawn, which was delicious. Friendly staff.

A small but friendly country pub, with occasional live music and events. Didn't have any food, but they serve good drinks.

The food is fantastic because it's cooked fresh to order. A great beer garden with a play area for kids, fab ale & gin selection! Ellie is a great host and we always ride our horses here for a beverage!

Stopped on a ride for refreshments in the garden. Nice little spot. Has a climbing frame / pirate ship out back for the kids.
