My daughter my grandson and I popped into the garden and ordered lunch on a sunny day recently, it was also breezy and nothing was holding the parasols down so they were flying around the place!!! Apart from that it was very nice - the garden was lovely , gated so my grandson couldn't run into the car park area and there was a wooden structure fir the kids to play in and climb on with a swing attached .the food was really nice too - my grandson had pasta in a homemade tomato sauce and a garlic bread ,my daughter had a baguette with a side salad and I asked for goats cheese salad with pesto sauce but without the baguette - we were basically told if the ingredients were on the menu I could have it how I wanted it! I really enjoyed my meal and it was very reasonably priced too

Really nice food. Between £10-20 for main course, and I really liked the chips in my fish & chips meal (bloody big fish too). The staff were very friendly. There was a log fire. There were dogs in the pub, which I always take as an indicator that it's a good place. Nice selection of beer too, albeit I had to partake of a non-alcoholic drink.

Visiting from USA and stopped in for a "pub style" lunch. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the BLT which came on a large baguette with very thick cut bacon. So delicious! Fries were thick, large, square cut and cooked just right. Beer was cold and tasty. Really enjoyed this place. Staff was friendly too. Parking can be tough, but if you're familiar with the area I think there are some "hidden" off street parking places. Can't go wrong with the Grasshopper!

Really nice lunch stop on the Oxted Circle Walk. Traditional selection of pub foods. Enjoyed a reasonably priced meal and a pint for £12 which was really tasty and well presented. Their beer garden is a lovely stop tucked away a few steps behind the restaurant. It would be due for a bit a maintenance as a few of the seats are in bad condition.

Lovely meals here after first day LED high bay light installation project. We had two of the famous beef pie and a miinute steak chips. So well cooked and the steak is very tender and pie is so full of layers, we can feel the freshness and the pleasure of good food.

The best ever meal I’ve had in a very very long time. Faultless. And complimented by very friendly staff. If it was decent I would have kicked my plate.

Everything about this pub was good. From the staff to the food and beyond. Excellent steak & ale pies, huge rib eye steak and cheesecake to die for! What more could you want? Thank you, lunch was great! They even have a small car park at the rear of the pub, but be careful driving through as the entrance is quite narrow.

Lovely local pub with a real fire! that do a great breakfast. I had the poached eggs with avocado & and smoked salmon on toast, with a delicious coffee. Perfect. There's a car park to the rear that makes it a great location to meet from further afield. Everyone very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is a great eating pub! The staff are bright and friendly, and the food is good. It can get busy and the seating is tight but, it's well worth a visit - I've been there quite a few times. 😀👍

Really wonderful pub with incredible food. Only downside is that it's expensive. It is definitely worth it.
