The only downside is that on times that I visited there was only one member of staff this was before 08.00 in the morning, the staff are brilliant even when under pressure
Cake selection is good. Costa coffee is good. A coffee shop in a hospital is never going to have a vibrant atmosphere!
Costa in Southend Hospital. Love the coffee. Not tried the food. Seating ok. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Friendly staff great service always get my hot chocolate when I at the hospital which is quite often only thing I think they could stay open a bit later like they Used to
Been here a few times. It's handy to fill a hole in hospital and somewhere to go between appointments but the selection could be better. It gets confusing because the seating area of Costa doubles as a waiting area and you can't always get a seat.
I have to say thank you to a lovely young man called Luke .T. who works at this Costa. My husband has been in hospital for the past few weeks and Luke has brightend my day with a cheery friendly smile and a how are you today. It made me feel so much better. Thank you Luke you are making a differenc
Very busy but staff work hard and efficiently. The girl on the till offered to bring over drinks for the man in front of me who had some difficulty walking.
Good range of coffee the soya not chocolate is to die for nice that these places do a dairy free option there might be a wait but it's worth it
Served by a really friendly chap, surprisingly wide selection of food. Yes it's expensive but it's a captive market, shame it's Typhoo tea..!
