You know when you don't even want to talk because you just want to savour the amazing flavours? That, was every mouthful. As it was our first time, myself and my friends relied on the waiter to advise us and that was the best decision. I did however ask for the black lentils as I'd seen them on the menu and they were OMG worthy! Simply stunning food - beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. Great service, knowledgeable staff and, did I mention the lentils?! :-)

Fantastic Indian food at a good price. My wife is Indian and she and her family love this place so it also ticks the authentic box. Top pics are chicken biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan. Service friendly and there is a large fish tank in the resteraunt which makes it interesting too! Would highly recommend!

I ordered a large order for collection for a birthday. I was worried as first time but I had nothing to worry about. All dishes were delicious. Portion size was good and everything tasted different and freshly made. We all enjoyed the food despite having very different tastes and heat tolerance. We had lots off varieties and even the kids love it that say it all. Can't wait to dine in.

We were a party of 5, we had researched the local Indian restaurants and this one seems to get the best reviews. Turns out that’s those reviews were correct, really impressive food with deep flavour and real depth. Good service and great food. In my top ten curries of all time, outstanding.

Authentic, beautiful food that was flavoursome and also vegan/veggie suitable. Staff were amazing and fairly priced; we can’t wait to go back again

Basically I am from south part of India and I really loved the food here. The taste is very similar to the south India spice and the price is also reasonable . I ordered veg Manchuria and Murg chicken biryani and these two are very very good and the taste is also very similar to what we eat in south part of India in Andhra. I would highly recommend this place if you want to taste some good Indian food.

Had the best evening in the Indian Chefs as part of a social with our tennis club. The food is much more authentically Indian and was just beyond delicious! Even my husband who struggles with spicy food loved it. Considering we were a very large group, we were still able to order from the a La carte menu and there wasn’t a person in the group who didn’t thoroughly enjoy the meal! Decent wine too! Will definitely be returning and bringing friends & family too.

Different type of Indian restaurant to the normal. Excellent service and food. Huge fish tank in the middle which seemed to work. Walked here from Southend and was worth it .

Discovered the Indian Chefs after a recommendation from a work colleague whilst visiting Southend. On our arrival the pleasant and calming atmosphere was greatly enhanced by the amazing fish in the beautiful aquarium. Our dining experience was an absolute delight. The owner recommended several dishes and explained how they differed from the run of the mill indian restaurants. The food was of amazing quality and a real treat of authentic and traditional indian cuisine. We would throughly recommend and we will be going for our second visit tomorrow, just a week later!

Great food. Delicious food from india infused with two different areas of india. We loved the freshness of the fish. The excellant service from the owner and a personal chat with their customers they gave. Never had aubergines cooked like that ever before. Highly recommended. Opening soon in New Malden.

It’s always a good time when I go here. Consistently enjoyable food full of flavour (especially the starters) and as always, lovely staff. As in Indian, I can confidently say this is my favourite Indian restaurant

After coming here with my tennis group, I brought our visiting German friends the following week. They also loved the restaurant and the food. Highly recommended and although the menu was a little bit confusing with some of the "Starters" as well portioned as the Mains, we will definitely be returning to try out more of the delicious food. The 4 stars for atmosphere is because the music can be a bit overloud, also maybe get a bigger playlist, as I heard the same music on both visits.

A great celebratory meal at Indian chefs. If you want Authentic Indian food this is the place to go. We had methi lamb and chicken korma and both of the dishes were delicious Even on a Wednesday the place was packed with customers. The owner Bibin and his wife always make us feel special and look after us so well. We felt pampered and looked after.

Bibin, Rayan and the team are the best ! My wife and I moved to the area about 2 years ago and discovered this gem of a restaurant. The food and service is amazing (you have to have the manchurian), we take everyone that visits us there. We love it so much, we had them cater our wedding recently, where they knocked it out the park. Our guests have raved about it and we understand that some took the menu card so they could go along and re order. Thanks guys, see you on HCR or Maldon soon !

We went during the eat out to help out scheme, ordering and contact tracing was done through a website via a QR reader. Everything was sanitary and social distancing was adequate. We ordered a samosa for starters which was incredibly tasty (not in the picture). It's enough for 2 people but not anymore than that. For our mains we had lamb biryani, rara gosht which is a dry version of a lamb curry, as well as a side of okra in spices and poppadoms with sauces. Everything was lovely and delicious. Our order was definitely enough for 2 people maybe even 3. (See photo below) Some may find the spice/heat level a bit much, but it was perfect for us. I definitely recommend this restaurant as it is a hidden gem and the staff are friendly! Bonus points as they are dog lovers 💜
