The Beach Hut - Westcliff-on-Sea - Photo album

Visit here every so often for a girlie lunch. The menu had changed since I last visited but is still very good. I had a shandy & my friend had a glass of wine whilst we waited for our food. We decided on a sharing dish which consisted of some salad, cheese on toast, pitta bread, various dips & was
I only had a coffee here, however the staff was really nice. The coffee was good too ;) They are surely dog friendly as they had 2 water bowls filled with fresh water just by the shop window which i find a really nice gesture
Went for an early morning coffee and decided to go for a bacon sandwich as well. It was delicious! Service was good, the view was lovely and the prices were fair. So all in all I'd recommend The Beach Hut.
First time here for lunch…my oh my how fab it was. Sea bass was second to none and fish and chips simply divine. I cannot fault the service and attention paid to us. Prompt, smiley and so very polite. Hot sunny day and windows opened automatically to let sea breeze in. Another bonus was that they al
This is the first I've been here but would definitely come again The food was absolutely superb, the best fish and chips ever ! My son had the gammon steak, freshly cooked with egg and tomato. 10/10 The staff were very friendly and helpful as we had turned up as they were about to close but they mad
Amazing staff and delicious food
1st time here for me but my parents have been a few times. Great wheelchair access for me as they have no problem producing a ramp. The food was so lovely it’s worth another visit but…. The disabled toilet needs a much bigger non-pedal bin! Which is why I could only give 4 stars. The staff couldn’t
Wonderful lunch. Food was good value for money and absolutely gorgeous. Service was excellent and friendly. The setting was fantastic great views of the estuary. We will definitely be returning
Good food, friendly staff, great views. Popped in here in the off chance for a late lunch. Friendly staff welcomed us. Really enjoyed the food. We chose cod and gammon, both very well presented and the gammon was of high quality, not the common pre formed from a packet stuff you can sometimes get. C
Great little stop to get out of the sea breeze! It's got a lovely little area to sit and watch the sea disappear or return along the sandy flats and either have a tea or even a beer. I had a "bucket of chips" and the wife had a bucket of cheesy chips that looked huge. Plenty as a little snack betwee
Nice place on the promenade. We only had tea and dessert. Prices are reasonable. Quality was ok . Waitress spilled the tea in the tray. Staff were nice and friendly . One of the waitress was very professional. I had home made cake thought it was average. Mrs had Eaton mess , was much better.
Excellent service, friendly staff, and absolutely beautiful fish and chips.. lovely light batter with proper chips.. definitely worth a visit ☺️.
Lovely peaceful setting with full sea views. Beautiful fresh food and the staff were very friendly and obliging. Will definitely return.
Had lunch here nice food, good service friendly, helpful staff Lovely place
Lovely place for lunch on a sparkling sea day, right over the beach. Tasty food and selection but portions a little small and prices a bit high, but where isn't these days!?
I love this place. I come here every Saturday and Sunday morning for my breakfast. The service and quality is very consistent and the view is just awesome.
Fish and chips lunch is a must when visiting Southend , especially when it overlooks the " beach" as the Beach Hut does . The portion whilst not being the largest I've had ,was adequate and nicely cooked, and tasty.
Lovely place, very clean and tidy. Staff are soo lovely too. Very quick service and the food is very delicious.
