Rossi icecream is a landmark. The factory which resides in Southend should possibly be a world wonder. As much as “glamour” girls stereotypes Essex, Rossi icecream is the well deserved, much loved institution of the county. A Rossi icecream truck even makes a guest appearance driving through the video of Blur’s song ‘Parklife’ (@ 1:50).

Couldn’t quite believe that after having lived here for sixteen years I’d never stepped foot in Rossi’s! Came in at the end of a long day out with family on the seafront, and couldn’t help but try a few different options. We had the black cherry & cookies and creme, raspberry ripple & salted caramel, and then a separate portion of lemon ice (only because everyone told me I’d be mad to not try it!). It was quite possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. The lemon ice was so refreshing and zingy, yet not overpowering and sharp. I could’ve eaten an entire vat of it given how hot it was! We also took home some cookie cups and an apple pie, which were also AMAZING. Can’t wait to come back and try something else!

Great big glass fronted ice-cream parlour. We visited on a lovely busy afternoon, the sun was high in the sky, the tide was in and the queue was just reaching the front door. There wasn't a long wait to be served however there was a situation with the card machines and they were only able to accept cash at the time. This didn't stop us ordering (always carry cash with you, just incase). Was very pleasant service and the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Their knowledge of products, sizes, prices and options is fantastic. Keep up the great work everyone.

Very nice ice cream restaurant near the beach, which provides many choices of flavour. Vanilla and Orange sorbet is highly recommended.

You can’t visit Southend and not visit Rossi’s ice cream parlour - it’s a tradition and long may it continue. Delicious ice creams, cakes and treats all await, the service is quick and staff are always friendly. I look forward to a visit back to Rossi’s soon!

I recently visited Rossi's and I must say, I had an absolutely wonderful experience! The customer service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - their malt and vanilla cone. Oh boy, it was absolutely delicious! The combination was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The ice cream was creamy and had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was evident that they take great care in selecting only the best ice cream. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my visit. It's clear that they care about their customers and take pride in serving mouthwatering ice cream creations. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delightful treats! Really wish I had taken a photo to include... but I was too greedy!

Rossi is already a well-known Ice-cream parlour on the promenade and everytime we visit Southend, we pop in for their delicious Ice-cream. So many flavours to choose from too. Apart from that, they also serve other food items and coffee/tea. Parking is right in front and the sea view is amazing.

The long heritage of Rossi’s with this small town speaks for itself and the ice-cream stands up to it. One can never go wrong with vanilla and mint chocolate. Located by the shore, the views are excellent while you dive into your tub. There are good breakfast options too and hot beverages to your liking. The ample parking right by the door is cherry on top. Strongly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rossi Ice Cream Parlour, and I must say, their vanilla ice cream is truly the best I've ever tasted in the UK! The moment I took my first spoonful, I was transported to a world of pure creamy bliss. The rich and smooth texture combined with the perfect balance of sweetness made for an unforgettable experience. What made my visit even more exceptional was the stunning surroundings and the enchanting beach view. On a sunny summer day, there's nothing quite like enjoying a cold, refreshing ice cream while gazing out at the sparkling waves. It added an extra touch of magic to the entire experience. One highlight of my visit was indulging in their sundae, priced at a reasonable £6.50. It was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The combination of the luscious vanilla ice cream, delectable toppings, and delightful presentation made it an absolute joy to savor. Each spoonful was a heavenly delight that left me wanting more. The staff at Rossi Ice Cream Parlour were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their offerings. They helped me choose the perfect sundae and made sure my visit was enjoyable from start to finish. If you're a fan of vanilla ice cream, I highly recommend making a trip to Rossi Ice Cream Parlour. Treat yourself to their exquisite sundae and relish in the idyllic beach view. It's an experience that will leave you with lasting memories and a craving for their delectable ice cream creations.

Great to find this nostalgic icon of the seaside! The cleanest cafe I have EVER had the pleasure of visiting! Top of the range ice cream sundae at £6.50 is large! Just make sure you do the walk back along the promenade 😉

I have just arrived. The menu is appealing. Its extremely reasonable and the staffare polite in providing service. The meal was great. The Rossi ice cream is as delicious as usual. I would truly recommend. What a heritage to be valued and respected by customers and staff al I still remember the East London venues. The quality is still there and should still be respected.

Popular place facing the beach, there's always a queue (on weekends and sunny days) but the service is very quick. Nice seats outside in the shade and tons of seating inside. Good selection of ice cream. Honest prices. Didn't like my espresso coffee 🤭

Nice location, parking right outside, tasty breakfast and sea view. Friendly staff but some members not in a good mood that day in my opinion. I love a good quality coffee and I am sure this place would benefit from having one of a better taste. Anyway I will come back for sure, strong 4 stars.

Haven't had Rossi's in years so it was a pleasant surprise when we returned and it was still the same. Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Loads of seating both inside and out and the store looked super clean. Well priced for a pretty decent serving. 🤩

Rossi's Ice Cream Parlour on the front at Westcliff on Sea was a real treat, a blast from the past. Not just ice cream, but a good menu of hot meals. We had traditional fish and chips, and the cod in batter was the best we'd had in our memory. A light coating of batter did its best to contain the generous portion of fish, which was excellent. The staff were brilliant, but its popularity means you may have to queue, which I think is always a good sign for a restaurant. Enjoy!

The true Rossi OG! This is easily the best place to get a lovely Rossi ice cream. The quality and size are always good, and is always our treat when we fancy an ice cream. Recommend the 99 Rossi (with a chocolate flake) and a wafer cone!
