Incredible! They were able to accommodate me and my little dog Murphy for dinner, and even made him a meal of chicken and rice. The young Portuguese lad that served me could not have done enough. And hats off to the kitchen as the food was incredible. 10/10

Amazing, authentic Madeiran food. Superb service. The bolo do caco is up there with the best I have ever tasted.

Delicious food, some of the tastiest I’ve ever had, in a nice setting with pleasant friendly staff. I would highly recommend a visit here.

A really quirky place to eat in Westcliff. The food is good and the service too. I like the super quirkiness of this place and the little ornaments dotted around. It has a section at the back that is perfect for summer too. If you like a bit of "different" this is a good place to go.

I liked it! Good food, amazing house vine. It was unexpected that on Friday we were alone there. My favourite was mussels marinara. Recommended!

Had an amazing meal at O Picado with delicious sea food, a nice atmosphere and very well made drinks. The pina colada was one of the best I've had and the black scabbard and passion fruit worked perfectly together.

So good. Been multiple times. Food is top notch and the service is top as well. Polite and happy to help. Had a nice atmosphere when busy. Nice range of food flaming sausage or chicken hanging on a server. There steaks are cooked to perfection.

We went here for my wife’s birthday, four meals all delicious as it alway is when we’ve previously visited. Speaking to the manager, they are short staffed and being in the catering industry myself I know how difficult it is to find reliable people, it can be very frustrating! I don’t think the general public have any idea how difficult it is to find good people, it shouldn’t be that difficult, but it really is.Good luck, you deserve it as it’s a lovely restaurant.

Such a lovely little restaurant! Food is amazing, service is brilliant and the 'outside' seating area is so pretty it feels like your abroad somewhere! Highly recommended 👌

Excellent food all freshly cooked. We had a starter then meat skewers. More than we could eat! Service was excellent. The rear area has been designed to mimic an outdoor Mediterranean bistro. A good choice.

Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. A really lovely friendly restaurant. I had a lovely pork, bean and chorizo stew and spicy rice and my wife a piri butterfly chicken. A nice pint of draft portuguese beer too.

Good was excellent and the atmosphere is also really good. Eating in the garden area is lovely and everything was delicious. We had to wait a bit for our mains, but this wasn't a problem as we were in no rush and it gave a good amount of time for our starters to go down. They also gave us a free round of drinks without us having to ask because the food took a while. Very authentic good food, steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you!

Lovely food from Madeira served in a beautiful rustic setting. Try it if you want something different, you'll end up wondering why you hadn't been before. We did. Although fish and seafood feature a lot on the menu, there is also a lot of choice for carnivores too.
