I am addicted to this place due a weekly fix. Unquestionably, the best chips for many miles around, always beautifully cooked fish. Try it, others I've recommended it to seem to concur
Always very wary ordering my usual dish from a new, or different to the usual Chinese restaurant. But this time I was not disappointed, the beef chow mein was not bad, but the chicken balls, oh my good Lord, to die for people, absolutely perfect, light and crispy batter with perfectly cooked 🐔
Salt and pepper chips without the chilli's, again absolutely perfect, not too much seasoning and neither too little, perfect.
Also the swet and sour sauce I could probably drink, lush.
Will order again.
Very tasty Chinese food, another quality restaurant in Westbury. I had walked passed a few times and it always seems busy which is an obvious good sign. I chose the wafer king prawn, 4 really large prawns in what might also be called paper prawn. The portion was much larger than I expected and really tasty. For main I chose Kung Po Chicken with stir fried Chinese veg and plain rice. Again large portions, well cooked and good ingredients. Washed down with a Tsing Tao beer.

I ordered a collection order at 18:20 on Wednesday evening and it was ready to collect in 15 minutes. I have never had such tasty food ready so quickly.
I will definitely be ordering from here again.
I highly recommend the Crispy Lamb with Mongolian Sauce and the Mushroom Fried Rice, both were delicious.

Had a meal here with friends last night. (29th May) Food and service was excellent. We didn't book as we thought a Tues evening would be quiet but it was packed. However they managed to find us a table for six within a few mins. Food was hot and well cooked and we didn't have to wait long. We were made to feel welcome and all staff were attentive and polite. This was my second visit but won't be my last. Highly recommended.
Good quick service, lovely food (still think it is the nicest fish in town with generous portions). Like that there is the option to wait in the restaurant area so not all crowded close together in the shop.

I live in Melksham but never hesitate to drive to the Champion for best Chinese for miles around.
An average 4 stars. Decent food but couldn't shake the vinegary edge to the sweet and sour dishes. Take away from here is the same as well. Overall a pleasant experience with attentive staff and clean and comfortable restaurant.
Excellent takeaway, I always enjoy my meals from here. Some gluten free options. There is a restaurant adjoining. Although I haven't eaten here it looks lovely & I'm sure you will find the service first class.
Had not been here for nearly 20 years as have moved away from the area and decided to return for a birthday meal . This is the best Chinese restaurant!!!!! The food was great, the service was great, the staff were very helpful especially Allan who especially put himself out! We will definitely return, and won't leave it another 20 years!!!
Easily the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had; not had a bad one from here yet. I'll gladly drive out of my way to collect rather than order from more local shops that deliver.
Visited this restaurant for the first time with friends who rated it highly. Must say it didn't disappoint. Great food, excellent happy staff. Will definitely be going back.
