Wonderful restaurant in a restored old barn. Excellent service and excellent food. We went for lunch to celebrate a birthday, our first visit, and will definitely go back. We bought kippers for breakfast tomorrow in the fab fishmongers downstairs. Thank you for a great experience.
I called in to purchase fresh fish as we like to when close by. The choice is phenomenal. The fishmonger knowledgeable and takes great care. I was lucky to buy two beautiful fresh blue finned tuna steaks from one of only six landed at Brixham and purchased by the smokery, and a beautiful mixed fish
The Smokery is fabulous. The deli is great, but the fresh fish mongers is totally amazing; go there and properly discover all the delicious fish you've heard of, possibly eaten in restaurants, but have never cooked at home. Aside, the cafe is brilliant, and does the best eggs Arnold Bennett ever!
A hidden gem near the motorway! Very low key but amazing food and set-ups. Ground floor was a fish market with food/deli counter, and a curated farm shop. Love this place all-round and have visited a few times. The restaurant is exceptional and the range of seafood options top-quality and regularly updated. Always bring back some fresh fish to the mainland from the fishmongers. Farm shop and cafe also available. Highly recommend.

Of course the fish is excellent, but don’t overlook the desserts. Not being the priority for me normally when I eat out, but here the sweet offerings are exceptional.
Excellent seafood restaurant that also sells very high quality fish and other items in a very well kept restaurant and gift shop. A great selection, however the recipes that they do in the restaurant are definitely catered towards a more 'adventurous' or seasoned pallette to put it nicely.
