We took my husband's elderly aunt who lives just around the corner, for lunch. She hadn't ever been but as it was walking distance and they were dog friendly, it was our only choice. We were made very welcome, the food and wine were excellent and we had a really lovely visit. The young waitress was

A nice pub. Friendly staff and good food, with a good atmosphere. Friday & Saturday nights they have music (they have a dance floor, it does get used).

Good atmosphere and lovely staff, a good spot to go for a few drinks and parking if not. Serves good pub grub and caters for partys if needed.
