Online table booking was a breeze. We were greeted by friendly staff who seated us straight away. The atmosphere was perfect and it felt and looked like a cosy pub with character. The meals were superb and pricing reasonable, the turnaround time on the food was spot on. Our waiter was outstanding - on top form. I can’t remember his name however he was friendly, efficient and had a brilliant sense of humour - just what you need! One of THE best pubs I’ve been to. Cheers
Love going here...the staff are super nice and couldn't of done more for me...dining alone...made a point of giving me a lovely table and the food was yummy! One of the places I don't mind going to alone...never feel uncomfortable there!
We lunched here today...friendly atmosphere, good service and nice food...I’d recommend the fish ‘n chips & prosecco...the coffee was lovely too! All very reasonably priced. Very cosy and gorgeous log fires. I’d definitely go again.

We had a lovely meal here on fathers day and even though they were rushed off their feet and we hadn't booked they managed to fit us in. We haven't been for a while because we eat out at many different places but will definitely be back soon.
The staff deserve a mention also because they were so friendly and nothing too much trouble

First visit for us . Food was amaxing . And plentiful. Great selection on the menu. Was made to feel wecome by our wonderful waiter Tony , who served us throughout our visit .
Friendly staff- great food what more could you want! Always lovely when I pop in after work for a drink or meet friends for dinner!!

We just had a perfect Sunday Roast lunch here outside at the garden in a sunny afternoon.

Just been to curlew for some grub with the wife after work no words really to describe it just blew me away amazing so good quality food lovely staff beer was great all amazing how it should be done when spending money going out we all know its not cheap but when like this all worth it well done curlew see you again thank you
Nice atmosphere and decor with a friendly waitress. Quite pricey for us to visit regularly. We spent £50 for 2 mains, 2 soft drinks and a shared a dessert.
We had the Home-Baked Pie of the Day which was Beef & Merlot and the Chicken Forestiere.
I was able to swap the chips for rice on the Chicken Forestiere which complimented the dish perfectly! I definitely recommend!
The Chicken Forestiere said it was served "on a bed of spinach" I asked the waitress if this could be removed and she informed me the Chicken was stuffed with the spinach, which when I received the dish wasn't true. There was a very small amount of spinach under the chicken which was fine!
Trio Pudding was perfect to share after our meal!! Delicious.
I started going to the curlew regularly when I lived near. Spectacular food for decent prices. Good alcohol selection, same with food options. I highly recommend booking as they get very busy especially for their Sunday roasts which are epic!! Best in town that took 7 Sunday roasts around the local area to find this one!
The trio of desserts is fab. The staff are so ridiculously friendly and happy no matter what mood you are in...you step in there with or without your babie/fur babies and they will put a smile on your face ❣️

We regularly visit The Curlew and every time we have a wonderful time. The service is friendly, professional and efficient and the food is always great quality.
Warm friendly welcome by the hostess and our server was prompt to take our order. Food choices were excellent, served hot and to our requirements. Our server, Kitty was attentive all evening despite it being busy. For dessert we had the honey pot which was as delicious and enjoyed by all.
We visited the Curlew for a Sunday roast. The pub, food and service by Emily were all excellent, can’t fault it. We’ll definitely be back

My very thoughtful son took me for the 3 course Mother's Day meal here. The meal was absolutely delicious, with generous portions of food. The service was excellent, and despite it being a busy time (5pm), the staff coped amazingly well under the pressure. We didn't have to wait long for any of the courses to arrive, and the drinks were served quickly after we ordered them.
It was a fabulous experience and finished off a lovely Mother's Day, spending quality time with my son. I would definitely recommend The Curlew.
