Quite honestly the best pub I've been to in decades. Came with my family and my mum. The team here were exceptionally kind and accommodating as one of my daughters is autistic and asked for separate food. This would have been outstanding alone but then the food came out. Surprisingly great visit to this pub and inn. The room we stayed in was beautifully presented, with countless small extras that were appreciated. The breakfast that came with the room was 10/10 in the morning too.

Great location, smart, clean accommodation, good beer, great wine choice and good food. But the thing that really makes The Castle is the attitude of the people working there. From the friendly but efficient check in to the check out, all the people there are just so good!
While we didn’t stay here, we visited the restaurant and ordered soup and broccoli for starters along with the flat iron grilled chicken and fish & chips for mains. Excellent cosy country Inn, we had a lovely stay with our two dogs. Staff were great, couldn't have been better. Breakfast was very tasty too.

Had our wedding reception at The Castle Inn on Friday 15th September. The staff went all out - above and beyond expectations. All the guests enjoyed themselves. A big shout out to the chef(s) who prepared , cooked and presented all the food. Excellent, homemade and very tasty.

Lulworth Cove is 10 minutes away, and Poole is only half hour away.
The bed was very comfortable, no noise heard through the night and nice little touches in the room as well.
