Very quaint, excellent views with great food.
We had a nice flat white and a super tasty millionaire shortbread! Loved the cozy and home-like atmosphere!
Lovely tea rooms! Very welcoming and had gluten free bread. Thank you :)
Absolutely gorgeous place. It was totally unplanned just took a detour to have coffee and reached here which was worth it. Nice and cosy place to grab a coffee and small breakfast. The owner was really sweet and welcoming , even the daily customers over there was friendly too...
Lovely quaint little village the tea room was the end of my visit to this village the young waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic olde worlde tea house situated at the bottom of West Linton. They do a mean Latte and the home baking is to die for. My friend had the breakfast and it looked very filling. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
Beautiful little independent tea room. Excellent food and drink! Makes for an excellent stop off driving up or down the A702.
Note that it is CASH ONLY!

A gem of a find and well worth a visit! After riding around looking for a refreshment stop, we came across this tearoom, which is in a lovely setting: an old toll booth, right next to the park. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you by the host, where you will find homemade treats and light snacks. We were so impressed and grateful to find coeliacs were catered for too.
A big thank you from us!
Lovely wee stop in lovely wee place. The sun is shining and families are enjoying the recreation ground. 3 filled soft rolls and a toastie were delicious. A very fine flat white too-not a hint of bitterness in the roast.
West Linton
Nice place to be and walk.
My wife and I had a lovely clotted cream & jam scone with a cappucino coffee (nice hot coffees) each on mothers day. Sat outside sun beating down braw for a late march sunday afternoon. Only down side is the Gents & Ladies toilets need their locks fixed as both doors stay open and will not lock when in them, you need a person outside holding them shut. Fix these and your quids in (It'll be a 5 star rating). We will be back to tea house & lovely surroundings the next time we pass through
We stopped in town for a gander and came upon this quaint little tea house. We had a nice tea and a couple scones. Delightful location and friendly staff.
Lovely tea house by the park in picturesque West Linton. Very welcoming service. Dairy free and veggie options
Great wee cafe. I enjoyed tea and cake outside in the sunshine, watching the swallows zipping around over head. I have never seen so many swallows in one place. Tried to count them, but it was impossible. They move too fast!
Anyway, all-in-all a very pleasant experience. The chap that served me was a lovely gentleman, and the tea came in a pot with bone china cup (my gran would have approved - tea tastes so much better out of a good bone china cup). It was great to relax in the sun here, and glad to be away from the madness of Edinburgh in festival time. It really is a relaxing place to chill out. I visited with my dog, and we both enjoyed the time out from exploring West Linton.
The cafe is perfectly sited if you have kids. There is a play park right next to it, and you can sit outside enjoying a coffee whilst the kids run free in the park. The cafe is also next to the amazing St Andrews kirk. I popped in their after my tea and cake, and it is truly worth a visit to see the intricate carvings that were done by two local women. Amazing stuff.
Excellent local cafe and a service centre for both the A701 and A702 heading into and out of Edinburgh.
The haggis and egg breakfast roll is a very tasty if quirky item on the menu.
Very warm welcome, nice coffee and the best scones ever!
Excellent reviving cuppa. Crumpet with bacon and poached egg is one of their wonderful signature dishes. Cash only. Nice service. Lovely ambience and local art on walls. Try it for yourself.
Really lovely café!! The scones were great and the coffee was brilliant too 😊
