I go to the Viking most weeks and love the atmosphere and the food. Staff are always friendly even when busy. The wait on food can be long when extremely busy but that is to be expected with fresh food and I don't see it as a particular negative if you're having a leisurely dinner with good company
Lovely atmosphere and plenty of space inside and out. Lots of activities for the kids from table tennis to cinema and a photo booth with free print off. Great menu and food was very well cooked with generous portion sizes. Service was good.
Really enjoyed our first visit to the Viking pub. Staff looked after us as soon as we walked through the door catering for my family of 4 and our dog finding us a table suitable inside. With having a dog this pub stood out from the rest in this area and we WILL be back again soon. 🍕👨👩👦👦🐶🍺
Interesting gastro pub. Friendly staff and efficient online booking. Toilets very clean and classy. Breakfast slightly over priced but nice. Parking free and adequate. Only downside was the constant musak. What's with places having to pipe background music all the time?
Went here on Easter Sunday so was expecting it to be very busy and it was, the pub/restaurant is light and air with a mixture of tables and booths.

Great pub, good selection of drinks and food, service can be a bit slow, a touch on the pricey side for what it is. However a huge well done as Simon and his team giving new life into a dying pub.

Had lunch here with my wife yesterday on our anniversary. Food was fantastic. Good feel to the place. Was served by a really pleasant young lady called Beth who couldn't do enough for us, polite and efficient. Overall, will definitely be visiting again and recommending.
Lovely friendly staff, food and pub. We went not having booked a table, as we went to see the fireworks and market and all the staff were so accommodating and friendly, especially our waiter, & managed to squeeze us in. Loved the free photobooth & the fireworks were a lovely touch too. Definitely
