Gillian is exceptionally attentive to each customer. The chicken paté is the best I've ever eaten. I've ordered many times and picked up my order from various locations of street market. I bought one for my dad & he agrees it's the best so when I place my order, I place one for him too. Can't wait to visit the shop in West Kilbride. Thank you.

Bought some chicken liver pate this morning from the Scottish Food Market, Kip Marina and have to say I have never tasted a pate so moreish. My 18 month granddaughter couldn't stop eating it. Will be paying a visit to West Kilbride shortly to restock.

We bought a tub of your chicken liver pate at the farmers market in Culzean. We froze it for a couple of weeks and when defrosted it was just as good as at the market. Finished it in one sitting. We live in Dundee and I'm seriously trying to persuade my boyfriend to make the 2 hour drive for more!

We met Gillian and Gavin at the Troon food festival today and we bought some of their amazing pate. When I asked about how long it could be outside of the fridge, they offered to drop it off at our hotel later on to make sure it didn't spoil - we were 30 mins away from Troon!! And talk about going above and beyond, they even added in some oatcakes and serving knives for free for us. Their pate is amazing, and the service is even better. Thanks again Gillian and Gavin, we couldn't recommend you any higher.
Cannot recommend the chicken, tequilla, brandy and cranberry pate enough.....Gillian told me it keeps for five days but it was gone in one with me it was so delicious!!! It has to be tried to be believed how good it it! Just bought another two.....three in one week oops!!!!!

The food here is not your typical standard stuff, Gillian does things her way, always with a little twist and always excellent, maybe only thing to better the food is the banter.....it’s a ‘must try’! 👍😃

My favourite items are the Cajun chicken melt panini , the chicken and banana soup , baked potato with chicken & sweetcorn . Infact everything I’ve had has been delicious, hence why I recommend the curios larder to all of my colleagues who also now love to visit . If your in Westkilbride you 100% need to try this place , you won’t be disappointed 5 ⭐️
I have just eaten an almond cake that I bought this morning. It was the tastiest cake I have ever had !! Each delicious mouthful wonderfully gluten free. Cannot recommend it enough. (They also do gluten free Florentines, empire biscuits, soup and toasties)
Love the selection of delicious take away food and especially the savoury tartlets. Service is efficient and friendly and have highly recommended to friends and family. The coffee is great too.

We enjoyed a really good lunch in the Deli(one of the best we had in Scotland so far) Highly recommended. The customer service was superb. They were so friendly with our small daughter and even thought of cooling down her toast.
