First time visiting the pub today and enjoyed a delicious roast lamb dinner. Food and service both great. Dog friendly and friendly locals.
Just before Christmas, we visited this wonderful pub. We stopped here on our way to London. Beautifully decorated, it looked inviting at first sight. Homemade sausage rolls were served at the counter under a glass bonnet and luckily for us, we were able to sit right at the table next to the fireplac
We were staying locally at new beach caravan site and didn’t fancy going to the carvery next door and after asking for a few recommendations we came across Boltophs Bridge inn. We called on the Saturday and was able to get a table booked for Sunday. We ended up arriving ahead of hour before our book
Went there for a family meal. Large diverse menu options with daily specials too. Service was quite slow and we had to get the attention of staff a couple of times as we felt we'd been forgotten but the staff were very friendly and polite. The food is all homemade which is refreshingly nice. Good si
Just had lunch in this dog friendly pub ,liver and bacon for the husband and lasagna for me. The food was amazing ,lovely flavours and generous portions. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out. Will definitely return again.
Home cooked food and good value. We are in the evening and the service was great. If you go during the day and the weather is clear, apparently you can see giraffes, from the wildlife park, on the hills. Would return.

Food was out of this world...really superb. Visit was spoilt by a regular at the bar with a deep loud voice. He was downing shots and getting louder and it was only 6pm. Couldnt hear ourselves talking eating our meal.
Super place. Typical country pub. Good simple food served efficiently and with a smile. We booked for 1.30 but arrived early. Were able and happy to serve us straight away.

Nearest pub to me now Lympne closed down. Pub itself is OK and is nicely situated in countryside. Better atmosphere in the winter when the open fire is blazing and you have an ale to warm the cockles of your heart whilst the chill outside rages. Haven't recently experienced the cuisine, last tim
