Visited here yesterday after googling pubs with play areas as was needing a place to stop before heading home with three little ones. The pub was gorgeous inside! Lovely looking menu and outside had patio heaters which we were thankful for. Locals were friendly also and accommodating towards the little ones. Would come here again.

Have just celebrated my mums life at the King William. Jack dealt with us professionally and took care of everything. We had our own separate area inside and outside which was perfect. The food was lovely and the wine good. Staff were attentive and looked after our guests well. Would definitively recommend.
Cosy and warm, traditional pub environment. All the staff and Landlord are especially welcoming. The vegan stuffed aubergine dish I had was delicious. Definitely recommend for a quick drink or for a family meal.
I'm so glad this place is back open! The new owner, Jack, went above and beyond for everything we needed on our visit. The garden and outside seating area is lovely and very accommodating to all. The staff do a great job to make you feel welcomed and the locals are very friendly too. Will be sure to pop my head in more often!
Great to have the pub open again and food being served. Had the pepperoni pizza and it was great. Good value for money and the service was excellent. We were a fnig group and food all come out together and they really looked after us. Looking forward to my next visit
Just had delicious Sunday lunch at King William IV. The pub has improved hugely since we were last there (before lockdown), it feels fresher, cleaner and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff who do care about their customers. Special shout out to Mari, Jack, Jack (mngr) and the chef! Thankyou, we’ll definitely be popping in more regularly again.

Been before after the bug and all is as good or even better the staff are helpful pleasant and polite and the food is as good if not better. Nice people nice food was a trifle warm on my visit but more people eat later. Will drop in again when in area.

I enjoyed my visit and the food quality was exellent. The sevice was fast and efficient, staff was very friendly and my younger sister enjoyed the food so much she got three portions of nuggets and Fries. Parking was plenty. Overall, a great place.

What a beautiful little find!
I booked a table here for Sunday lunch for myself and 2 friends. Car park was busy, but we did get a space.
Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff and (assumed) locals.
Dog friendly pub too, we saw a couple resting by the fireplace!
Nice selection of drinks on offer, and when we were seated the menus offered decent Sunday Lunch meals (and starters/puddings).
I ordered a spiced carrot soup and it was gorgeous, definitely one of the top 3 soups I've ever had!
Ordered the beef roast, was advised it would be pink unless requested otherwise (which was fine), it was fabulous to be informed.
Good sized portion and no complaints to be made.
Ordered pudding...LOVED pudding.
Atmosphere was wonderful, there were a few families in too, which was nice to see.
There was a child friendly garden with play equipment which would be fab to use in the Summer.
We had a fabulous lunch and will definitely visit in the future.
Lovely staff and great food. A bit more expensive than I’m used to, hence 4* rather than 5. Additionally, wait times for food and drinks is a bit long, but a nice experience nonetheless.
New play area for the kids since the last time we visited.
No food available on the day which was disappointing, I'm sure that will be resolved soon as it was previously excellent.
the chicken burger was amazing i would definitely recommend the same with the chicken wings the service was also brilliant.
Great to have the pub open again. Lovely home made pub food. We will be back.
