Just love the Barley Mow! Thai food is incredible, the staff are amazing and the landlord is fabulous. They always make a fuss of my sausage.....dog!
It's nice to find a real pub with nice people. Worth a visit.

This is a lovely pub with lots of space and warm fires to huddle around. They serve Thai food here and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was brilliant and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning.
Excellent Thai food, especially the prawn dishes. English food is also available, but I've never tried it. Beer from Fullers, Surrey Hills, and Hogs Back breweries (although not usually all at the same time!).
Always excellent! We love the Thai at The Barley Mow. Couldn't even count how many times we've been but it's consistently good. We don't live that locally any more but still come back. It's really that good!
Hasn't changed in years....quiet during the day, spacious relaxed garden and in the area of pleasant countryside walks. Reliable food a service

Great old country pub, also Thai restaurant that was excellent, food quality, service and price all couldn't be faulted.
Excellent old fashioned village local with exceptional home cooked Thai food at very reasonable prices.

Lovely historic oak beamed pub. Good range of beers and lagers. English and Thai food served through most of the day. Some outside seating for better days. A welcome respite on the many walks in the area.
A village pub and Thai restaurant combined. And both work very well. A really good place to enjoy great food and drink at a reasonable cost.
Fantastic Thai food served in a cosy country pub setting. My favourite is the Pad Ped, which explodes with amazing flavours in your mouth. Add a pint or two of local Shere Drop...what more can you want?!

Oh my gosh, the BEST Thai food!
Not only a lovely pub, warm, welcoming, super friendly atmosphere but the most incredible and authentic Thai food. The menu is extensive, very reasonably priced and in my humble opinion better quality food than many Thai restaurants.
Everything is made in house by the Thai chef, so, for example, the Thai fishcakes are so fresh and delicious unlike the rubbery texture that is often served elsewhere. They also have a daily specials menu which is such good value.
We lived in SE Asia for 35 years and travelled extensively in Thailand and the food at the Barley Mow is as good. I highly, highly recommended a visit, truly excellent. I think we have now found our new favourite place to eat!
For those with families who have children that are nervous of Thai food /spicy food, there is a limited menu of typical pub fare - fish and chips, sausages and mash etc. Which can all be made into a smaller child size portion. As well, we have a child with a severe peanut allergy, normally going to Thai restaurants makes us extremely nervous due to the fact that there is a lot of peanut used in Thai food, but we spoke to the manager about it and she was extremely accommodating, and so nothing on our table has peanuts on it/in it, and whilst my daughter with the allergy ordered fish and chips she tried all the Thai dishes we ordered and loved them!
Cozy pub with delicious and affordable Thai food. Great service as well.
Pub with characters in a nice quiet location, and certainly got that community feel. It has its own Thai restaurant/Takeaway and the food is reasonably good.
Amazing food. Slow to be seated but was extremely busy. Worth the wait.
