Just had a meal here Saturday evening, really recommend it. Really good value and the food was delicious! Baked camembert was big enough to share and thank goodness we did because the portion size for the main was really big! Between us all we had sausage and mash (delish according to those what had it) nuggets and chips for the big kids (the chef easily amended the portion size for us) and their 8oz burger which I couldn't finish but was so lovely I brought the rest back with me. Staff were lovely, good atmosphere, definitely come here again. X

Amazing food. The best chips ever. Huge portions in both starter and main. Unfortunately we were too stuffed to try dessert. Really friendly staff. Will definitely go again and I can't wait.

Great pub - had a friends birthday there recently and the pub was brilliantly decorated and the food was very good. The atmosphere was brilliant and the landlord and lady were very friendly. We went back in the morning for breakfast and it was amazing. Great value for money and very good food. Lovely pub in the countryside, I will definitely be going back!

Attended my Auntie's wake here after internment of her ashes. Very accommodating dog friendly pub with a nice beer garden. Note that dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant area but you can still have a meal seated elsewhere I believe.

Nice old fashioned local with excellent Badger beers and friendly bar staff. Some sensibly priced basic pub grub, scampi & chips, pizza etc, which is all too rare these days. And a nice beer garden. I was pleasantly surprised that they were serving food at Monday lunchtime, contra the website. Apparently food is served Mon/Tues lunchtimes but not evenings.

Had a few pints and a snack. Good drinks and food, nice atmosphere. Seemed like a nice outdoor area as well, even though we were inside. Friendly staff too. Look forward to returning on my next trip that way.

Lovely staff, clientele very polite and friendly , comfortably busy, the menu looked wholesome and reasonably priced along with the beer. Welcoming service. Happily sat our table of eleven and let us spend a large part of the afternoon there. It made a lovely venue for our event. Dog friendly pub, good food and very friendly. Thanks so much for putting up with us.

Lovely staff, clientele very polite and friendly , comfortably busy, the menu looked wholesome and reasonably priced along with the beer. A nice place to go. I walked 1.5miles to try it out and will happily be doing so often from now on. Take away pizzas reasonable too and looked delicious,! David M, visiting partner in Lightwater from Ascot. I feel a local coming on.

Lovely meal. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Thanks so much for putting up with us , I think our group caused havoc from the moment we arrived with confusion of table and being indecisive about our meals! Goes to show what a great selection of food you offer. Great service, will be back soon. Toffee crisp pudding was fantastic. Just too good to share 😉

Great place for Sunday roast. Good menu. I had roast lamb rump with more than ample roast potatoes and more vegetables were on offer at no extra cost. Friendly staff who were all willing to help. Best to book for Sunday. Excellent fish and chips during the week too from a quite extensive menu.
