First time coming here and I was impressed with the cleanliness and quality of food. I got lamb meat and chips for £6.99 lunch special, was worth the price. The portions were generous and quality of food was good.
We love the fish and chips from here. We haven't tried anything else there so dont know how it is. Its always fish and chips we order and it's great! The staff are friendly and give a great service.
They do have different portions of chips and today my husband came home with an extra large portion of fish and chips.
All three of my kids got a decent portion to share between themselves.
This is the only fish and chippy we go to in our area as not only the fish and chips are tasty but its halal.
Next time I'll have to take a pic of the full portion.
Pleasant looking chip shop, i was served by polite staff. Large vod and chips roughly £12, fresh hot tasty food.
The cooking and seving areas of the the shop were clean and presentable.
Service was speedy. I recomend.
Decent Fish n Chips, although the only criticism was the size/portion of the Cod n Chips. The batter was fried well, potatoes were fresh, presentation and service excellent, priced reasonably well too.
Delivery is available within a 3 mile radius and food is Halal (verbally confirmed by the owner).
Made an order on Just Eat and it was delivered very quickly. Food was amazing - I've not really had a proper good fish and chips for a while, so I'm happy to have found a good local now! Fish tasted fresh and the chips were lovely (not soggy like other chip shop chips). Good portion size too (a regular was pretty large and lasted two meals). Really great, highly recommend!
First time in sea shell fish and chips and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The traditional fish is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service I received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again. He made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience.!!

I don't often have fish & chips mushy peas since moving down from West yorkshire, decades ago, where they were delicious. The tasteless watery flat with skin & bones I tried when I came down to London just couldn't compete. However, after a long wait in A & E I was hungry & splashed out. The tasty white cod flakes and crispy tasty batter were so delicious it was a pure nostalgic experience. The chips too were just like being back home in west yorkshire all those years ago. Mushy peas were perfect. Packaging beautiful & service second to none.
They're not cheap & they don't taste cheap but I will be going back when funds allow.
Excellent scampi and fish bites. Sham is the best, make the items fresh to order. Fresh salad was extremely good and tasty.
Brilliant chippy and they have the lunch time offer for £5.99 lamb Donner chips which works for me
I would highly recommend the traditional fish and chips that comes with side which is reasonably priced. Sham is an excellent chef and very polite and friendly. Fish is fresh and high quality and batter is nice and crispy and not overdone. Cooked to perfection. Love the chips with curry sauce. Chips have the right balance of fluffy inside and slightly crispy outside. I come about once a week and quality is high and consistent.
Also It’s brilliant that able to dine in at no extra cost.
I’ve also had lamb kebab which was delicious and plenty if choice to be able to customise salad and sauces.
Don’t normally write reviews but would high recommend to pop in, if in the area.
I was pleasantly surprised, in a town that is scarce of high quality takeaways - this chippy hit the mark. I had a delicious plate of fish and chips, the fish was fresh and tasty, the batter was crisp but not excessive, the chips too were fresh and clearly not refried. If this takeaway can maintain these standards it should do very well. Service was friendly and the counter area is very clean. I would order again and recommend to friends and family.

Came here for a doner kebab and it was very nice and also high quality; probably my first ever kebab where the bread underneath wasn't soggy. Was good so I came back for a burger another time and that was also well cooked, but it didn't even have cheese (essential for a burger, but it was still good). I had chips with those burgers and although I'm not a fan of thick chips, I could tell that these were very well made. The staff are very friendly to add to the great food. The only problem is that even when the door is closed, the wind still gets inside and it's quite cold, but all the positives far outweigh that, so still 5 stars.
Real fabulous fish and chips. Very courteous and polite with homemade tartare sauce- very nice - and pleasingly punchy curry sauce for the chips. Good portion size and well cooked. Very pleased we stopped here and will do so again if in need of refueling in this area. Yum.
BANGING FOOD AND LOVLEY SERVICE . The fish tasted very fresh and tasteful and the batter was crisp and not all greasy . Their fish is larger than others in this area and chips are perfectly cooked.
Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The Quality of service and food is honestly the best . Also lovely homemade sauces. Good COVID measures in place.

I’ve now tried a good few items from Sea Shell’s menu, from their Traditional Fish & Chips to the Kebabs. Sea Shell have not failed me to date on Taste, Portion size and not forgetting their Delivery service when called upon. Their homemade sauces are a nice touch too. Keep up the great service and food quality!!
Excellent service I went in and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff, the food was delicious got a fish and chips and it did not disappoint very big portion sizes and very tasty all in all I’ve had a good experience with sea shells and fish and chips and will definitely be back
Went to Sea Shell fish and chips tonight, excellent service, great value and tasted delicious when we got home and ate it!
