Food was bang on 👌and you could actually taste the spices. Great selection of dishes, service was excellent. For a Tuesday, they were very busy, just goes to show, how good the food and atmosphere is.

Excellent food. Absolutely brilliant. A bit rowdy in there but the food is second to none.

Update One year later and I'm still coming here. Good size food portions. Good quality food. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. It can get busy, so I would recommend booking in advance. If you were late eater, go there around 21:30 and most times you can get a seat without booking. Food finishes at 22:30 First time here and I was impressed. Very friendly staff. Great food and reasonable prices will definitely be coming back again.

The Railway Inn - Oldbury Having worked around the corner from this establishment for the last 12 months ive wanted to try this for a while. What can i say. It certainly didnt let us down. Greeted by a lovely barmaid who soon sorted our order of drinks out and found us a table for the 6 of us. (It was quite busy so maybe next time we will book to make sure). The organisation of said barmaid stood out for me. The way she handled our food order was spot on. Even holding back for the last 2 people so she made sure all the food came out together. Food arrived pretty much together. There was no having to wait for other diners food which is always a bonus. Battered masala chips - Wow just wow. Now that is how you do masala chips. Hands down the best iv ever had. Lovely and crispy and spice kick. Making the decision to share these with another diner was spot on as there would of been no way id of completed a full portion to myself. 10/10 Masala sauce - these sauces can be hit or miss with this one certainly being a hit. This took me back to olde Indian eateries used to do their sauces before sadly closing. Lovely a creamy and just how a masala sauce should be. 9/10 Medium Mixed Grill - Finally a mixed grill packed with all kinds of meat not just full of chicken wings. The chicken tikka melted in your mouth and was jaw dropping with a dip of sauce. Sheesh kebabs to die for. I cant really comment on the fish pakora as im not a huge fan of fish so i wouldnt know what was good/bad. A very nice touch with the unlimited mint sauce it must be said 9.5/10 Garlic and cheese naan bread - Now if anyone has read my reviews before you will know this is the bread and butter of the meal. The pierre de resistance. However unfortunately this did fall a tad short. Plenty garlic but not much cheese. Which with everything else setting a high standard this was a tad disappointing. 7/10 Overall this is up there in the best Tikka Grills iv visited. I fully recommend a visit but id advise booking if theres a big party of you. I would certainly return Overall score 9/10

Nice indian food in this sport bar where you can for example watch the champions league! Lots of draft beers. Staff is pleasant. Order and pay first at the bar. Good experience for a end of the day diner with colleagues or friends. And a free parking is located at the back of the restaurant, very convenient!

Been planning on coming here for a while as I try every mixed grill place Birmingham has to offer and this was the only place that was left for me to try. Came all the way from Cardiff, there was no tables but the manager managed to get me a table, the wait for food was around 50 minutes but the manager was very accommodating as I was on a tight schedule. He let the chefs know of my order and my food arrived in 25-30 mins, quality was amazing, one of the best butter chickens I’ve had in a while. Could have added more fish pakoreh to the mega mixy but overall will 100% recommend this place.

Great pub! Lovely food, brilliant service and lovely staff. Perfect timing from ordering to getting served our food. Staff checked up on us during our meal which was nice. Will definitely go back

Came here for the first time to try the mega mix grill after seeing it reviewed on twitter and it really didn't disappoint. The meat was fresh tasty perfectly hooked and sizzling hot. Our mouths were watering as we heard the sizzle of our food arriving at the table 😋 We normally goto the Red lion in West brom which I would consider the best curry you can get in the west midlands so we had high expectations and they were met at The Railway inn The Stella was nice too freshingly cold and crisp Would coke back!

Had the whole family amazing food pleased with the starters chicken tikka was amazing fish pakora nice soft crunch u lamb bhuna had the right spice the butter chicken was amazing naan perfectly cooked and rice well cooked very pleased drinks service good top 1 so far in my list. Also didn’t expect to get that much Biriyani chicken Biriyani delicious with raita or curry sauce your choice fantastic
