Visited today with family for lunch. Restaurant was very clean, great atmosphere and nice decor. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as we had a young child with us (they turned off the TV to make the area quieter). Food was very good, came out quickly and was well presented. Would definitely recommend.
I want to start by giving a big kudos to all members of staff in this establishment they were all exceptional.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left service, ambience and most importantly food + drinks were brilliant!
We had spent a long day in the city and we was hungry and not disappointed by the food and drinks!
The Soho Mixed Grill is awesome as were the chilli chips + we loved the sauces on the table.
I will defo be returning again thank you for a 10/10 experience.
Great portions. One curry is enough for two. Different groups of people, families, lads, girl groups, brilliant to see a family friendly environment. Clean, tidy, great vegan veggie menu too. Very reasonable in price too.
Lovely place to eat and relax. Had a plant based mixed grill and some masala chips. Made to perfection, straight out from the kitchen, really hot and tasty. Came here about 5 times and it has always been great 👍
Great grill pub. Lots of on-site parking. Good attentive staff. Great selection of beers. And grills are just out of this world. 100% recommended. 👌🏼
A really great place, service was wonderful, food arrived quickly after ordering and was piping hot...Would go again for sure and do recommend it to all.
They do a very nice Veggie Mix grill. 100% something you have to try. One of the places I go often.
Brought my daughter here for her first mixy and we were both very impressed. Small mixed grill is plenty, chicken tikka and lamb shashlik were great. Could have been a little more meat on the chicken wings but a very minor quibble. Otherwise, first class, and really good value.

Highly recommend the Lamb Rara Curry, it was so delicious. The environment of the restaurant is clean and comfortable. And the service was nice, especially Sabrina was very nice and thoughtful to us.
Visited last night with my family after being recommended to come here. We had a Soho grill with chips and a kids meal as starters and then curries and rice as mains, and everything was delicious definitely some of the best Indian food I've ever had! The staff was really polite and helpful too.
Soho Oak is a great place in Birmingham United Kingdom. When entering into the establishment it gives a vibrant feeling. The staff are nice and professional. Service is self serve generally like other UK spots.
We ordered the mixed grill which was the best idea. This delicious bundle of joy can be done gluten free. The seekh kebabs are excellent as are the chicken tikkas. The fried fish is tasty as well. A bit spicy but overall an excellent meal altogether stacked high. Beer is well done with clean draughts. The chicken wings are just ok, would have preferred something else. Overall quite pleased.
When coming here ask for the spice level to be a bit less. It can be spicy and you’ll get green chilies here and there.
The food was delicious but the butter chicken was too spicy. I specially ordered for my daughter because it’s her favourite dish but she didn’t enjoy it. The ambiance was good. Awesome decor.
Overall we have a great time.

Absolutely amazing food and amazing service. Been here a couple of times and they have never disappointed. The food is always fresh and hot and the customer service is brilliant. One of my favourite place to come and eat and will definitely be coming here again.
Been here a few times, and they smash it every time. Honestly their food is on top, their service is on top. No words to describe it. Staff is lovely, always assisting me. If you ever go, you must try the chilli cheese chips!!😄

I've not long been back checking out the desi-pub mixi scene since the lockdowns ended, but this place will be hard to beat in terms of food.
I'd been here 3 years ago and had thought the mixed grill was average. What an improvement now. I went for the boneless option to avoid too many wings, and it was fantastic. Kebabs had a really spicy kick, but I usually like that kind of thing, and there's plenty of mint yoghurt to cool it down if needed.
Service was very friendly, the place itself looks lovely and clean inside. Definitely somewhere you can bring your family earlier in the day. They have an entire menu dedicated to vegetarians and vegans, so everyone is catered for. I'm planning to bring my family here to try the vegetarian mixi next time.
The food overall is delicious. I had been ordering takeaway delivery curries and kebab naan wraps from here during lockdown, which were nice, but nothing beats eating it fresh at the table here. Beer selection is great too.
The people running this place have really revolutionised the desi-pub concept and taken it to another level from the old days I've witnessed in Punjabi pubs.
