As a Spurs football fan i always head to this pub on our away days in West Brom. Not only is there a friendly atmosphere in the pub and great to mix with baggies fans but the food is superb. The indian food we get in London is bland and nothing like what we get in the Vine. Fantastic pub, great atmsophere and superb food. The trip to West Brom is always the first away game i mark on my calander.

Last time I went to The Vine was about 6 years ago. My life it's changed! Lovely food and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and funny. Food was gorgeous, distinct flavours and great value. Great loos, that tiling! And...they serve Blue Moon with a slice of orange. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

This is a massive place with copious seating indoors, in a large conservatory area and a few tables outside - though this is more of a smoking area so not great if you want to enjoy a meal in the sun without cigarette smoke. Everything is clean and well maintained and the service is extremely efficient. The food is really tasty and you can watch the chefs at work through an acrylic screen. A pet hate of mine is plates being cleared from the table before all parties have finished eating. It puts pressure on the diners who haven't finished, to finish. We only ordered one course - ok, 3 dishes, but they all came together. There were only 2 of us eating. We were asked 4 times if we'd finished with any plates and each time, articles were removed from the table. I understand that the place gets really busy on football match days (I've never encountered this myself, but have been told so) and so they need to speed covers through to increase the throughput of the restaurant, but they must have been running at about 10-15% capacity when we visited so this was not necessary and made me feel very pressured. For this reason, and the smoky outdoor area, I've docked them a star. The food however is genuinely lovely.

Visited on a lunchtime for the first time in many years and the food has definitely improved in that time. This place used to have a reputation amongst my desi mates as being a little bland, but that's definitely not the case now. Some of the items really packed a spicy kick, just how I like it! Service was friendly enough. Just found it odd that you can't order a large mixed grill before 4pm, even though all the parts of it are being made and served from 12pm. That's hopefully just teething problems as they've only really started a proper mixed grill menu this week. I did notice their main restaurant area was closed & they were only serving in the pub room, so for a better experience, it's maybe best to visit in the evening. Opted for a boneless mixi with a separate order of fish pakoreh. There is a decent beer selection to wash it down with. I will say it is probably the priciest place of this nature that I've seen in West Brom so far, and while the food was decent, it wasn't as good as some other nearby places. Giving it a 4, but it's more like a 3.7 for me.

I haven't eaten here in a while but when I did, the food was delicious and plenty of it. I came for a few drinks and since my last visit, they have had an upgrade, new seating etc. It's a lovely little pub, nice relaxed atmosphere. I shall definitely return and may even have a curry next time

Ambiance is so cool and warm. Staff are helpful and polite. Food is awesome especially the mix grill. Well- flavored meat. Just a bit off with pork spare ribs. Meat is a bit hard. But nonetheless everything is very good especially the prices.

First visit for a few years, good very good. Very wide menu, recently refurbished. Very quiet when we visited. Good portion size, we shared the large meat platter with the ribs and nan, did 4 of us. Will certainly go back.

Amazing BBQ Grill pub! Food is amazing drinks are cheap can’t beat it!! The BBQ is proper coal not electric and that’s what makes a difference to all the other grill places out there. They do fresh Naan breads and curry’s you have a lot of choices.

I haven't been to The Vine for ages and it was nice come back and have some proper tasty food. Top rate food and a lovely friendly atmosphere. It's well worth a visit to have some tikka kebab, and all the other delights on the menu. Good selection of food and drink. I won't leave it so long next time 😍

I remember we visited back in 2006. I ate the famous pork steaks. Delicious. This time I ate the fish pakora and chilli chips. Excellent! The restaurant has expanded and is now a big operation, beautifully presented with a good view of the chef in action! A polite man who acknowledged our thanks as we left. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Went in for a drink before a baggies match, my opinion but really expensive for two regular Pepsi and a carling in a plastic cup that wasn't Evan a pint, £11.45. That aside its a lovely pub with great bar staff who work really hard. Didn't have food but it smelt amazing.

Great curry in a pub style surrounding (desipub) Good choice of drinks and curry's with a tandoori grill good value . I find any excuse to visit as the food is top draw . Easy to find just off M5 Avoid on match day as it gets very busy . STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PLACES FOR A CURRY AND A BEER !! Last went April 2022 Went Saturday April 2023 .. prob been 4 times in last 2 months still A1 .. Just check home matches . Best get there just b4 3pm if westbrom playing at home . Parking can be a bit more awkward but should find some where. Slightly reduced menu on match days

It's a Tardis. It looks tiny from the outside but is absolutely huge inside. What a unique pub. The menu is predominantly Indian (curries etc.) Everyone seems to order the chicken tikka, we did and it lived up to expectations. See pic. Everything about our visit was perfect. Can't wait to be back!

As ever, superb food. Not cheap but worth the money. In course of restoration so the cosy ambiance was missing this time. Looking forwards to our next visit already!
